Ps. Athas is a desert created by defiling and evil - so rain is pretty much unknown...unlike here where deserts get infrequent but still notable rainfall. Just sayin'

Updates away! Apologies to Nikolas for the slight railroad into the others, if the situation calls for it, it is no problem to return to private threads - but I thought you might want to start meeting up a little bit. Hopefully Chalille is still around, I know he's been busy recently and not been on for a little while, so we'll move on as appropriate and anticipate real life settling down a bit.

PS: Angels descending seems just silly - on the other hand giant insects appearing out of thin air: acceptable
