Wait a minute, wait a minute.... spudball, are you now saying that there is an intruder standing directly in front of Mena as she peers out of the door of the visitors' quarters? So the three PCs who just walked out of that same door completely missed seeing this intruder, and he them?

Well in that case, I guess it doesn't really make sense for Mena to be peering out of the doorway, if Ythul is still standing in it. But maybe she can see over his shoulder?

Anyway, if we can assume that all those I's on the map are where the intruders are standing, then Ythul should be able that guy anyway, right? Is it time to roll init?

Yeah, I caught that. The other 2 are both still at the door, so you talking to them places you in the room too. My bad.

Mena is still last to get up, so I'll wait for y'all's posts before moving again. Unless spud calls for init. Sorry to have contributed to the clusterf*ck.

Note : My character moved out of the room. I think others did as well. Do these people not hear Ythul or see him at all?

Max went outside and tried to get in a good position to defend Ythul. Is a map update in order? Max also looked around the room. What does he see?

Did my hide check work? What do I see with my spot check?

Please try to be more descriptive with your posts, so that we have some idea what to do with our characters.

don't have a good map program to use, if you all decide to concentrate on the the map where you are located, i can use paint program and edit from their. But it will have to be done when i am home

I don't think that a map update is super necessary right now if the DM posts were much much more descriptive. Honestly, I would rather have you spend the time on a post describing the attackers rather than working on another map. Not just the results of our skill checks either. What kind of weapons do they have? Are they armored? What do they look like? Are they talking at all? If so, what language are they speaking? I wouldn't even worry about spoiler buttons unless that is the way you really want to do things. Just include our results in a paragraph or two describing what is going on and make sure that the post contains something that we can work with on our next action.

I promise to return a post with a similar level of detail and quality. I really want to spend time thinking about my character's motivations and personality, figure out what he would do, then make a quality post. However, I can't do that if all we get is "there are two attackers, they are attacking".

Sorry about not responding to the game thread, it appears that the game has been moving very slowly for some odd reason. I apologize for not repsonding quick enough, but you have to give me at least 12 hours to post

i'll post time specifics here exactly

sun- any time 6 am to 9 pm
mon-evening
tue-5 30 am to 6 am and 7 pm to 9 pm
weds see tue
thursday- 7 pm to whenever i feel like sleeping
fri- any time
sat-any time

i am willing to let the game work but it works both ways, i understand sometimes people may not be able to post everyday, but at least allow me the same courtesy. There are times i may be busy and might not be able to post i will always let you know about that.

spud, I am sorry if my PM came off as impatient. I wasn't trying to rush you, but nearly a week had passed since your last game post (not counting the OOC of four days ago where you just popped in to say that there's no initiative) and I noticed that you had logged in within that time without updating this game, so I thought it best to check in and see what was up.

I certainly think don't think it's unreasonable if you can't post every day, or even every other day for that matter. I have no gripes about whatever posting schedule you want/need to keep. But it would be nice if, as the DM, you would just keep us players well-informed about what's going on, that's all. I keep wondering if you're on the verge of abandoning this game. lol.
