Equipment

As like at the start, starting gear will be 4d6x2, add the wealth bonus from occupation they may have. That's how much you have in TU's in stuff like food, water, ammunition and so forth. Again since money is hard to come by, do to the fact that there's not many governments, societies and civilizations are left. To issue and print currency, or to monitor it.

An since the Trade Units work about the same as the Wealth purchase DC's. So instead of a 125 TU, it would be the more cheaper 35 TU then. On what you buy for your gear at the start and depending on who, and where you buy additional items from. If your still confused I can answer any questions you may have okay.

I do have a question, so our equipment total adds up to our TU's ? so for example I have 24 TUs , does that mean I can only have equipment that totals 24, like a beretta and a leather jacket for example?

It's more of like that out of the core rulebook, so the total wealth bonus. Though in this case its your total TU bonus, that you can spend and have in trade goods to trade in. Okay, so in a way it works kind of like the total wealth bonus', with out the item values. So whatever your result is from the dice roll and added wealth bonus, times that by 2 and that's your total TU bonus you can use when rolling a D20, adding the TU bonus. When you purchase you gear. Hope that clears it up some lol.
