Same. Xin's acro/athletic skills would most likely find me falling down that hole into an ambush. Last edited by NCSamurai; 09-24-2011 at 01:03 AM. |

Ok, sorry about not posting anything substantial for the last day or so, just got back home. So whenever I find out about whether or not I have to make a check to tie a rope to a sunrod and lower it down or if it's just a "take 10" kinda deal, I'll be ready to try out my ingenious and/or laughably stupid plan:-)

Well you can always drop the sunrod into the hole...

Hi guys. Sorry for yet another weekend delay. Cavuste I think your idea is so simple it doesn't require a check so I'm going to let you go ahead and do it. This means the once dark room below will be bright light twenty squares around the sunrod and dim light elsewhere. This effectively means Achenar will be able to see throughout the room without much problem. I'll get onto posting the results now.

I'm afraid you'll have to bear with me. I've posted in the main thread but theres not much you can do until I get time to post the map and such. I'll try and get a move on

Now that we can see down the hole...how deep is it? If we're going down there, I'm probably going to end up falling part or all of the way...

I'm fairly sure I detailed that in the description in the main thread. About twenty feet

Reposted that long reply. Phew. The battle map is up but I might be too busy to update the enemies first turn. Sorry again for the delays guys. Still, at least you've got a map to look at

There we go, that answers just about everything. *contemplates just plain jumping...wonders if the trash pile would break my fall*

Ah so they are. Thanks Doghealer. That happens sometimes when I convert the images to .bmp for some reason. Thanks, I'll get on that. The software would be perfect if it had a better way of making grid markers. Can't have it all though I guess

Capatain Damakos is nothing if not pragmatic. Supplies are limited on a ship at sea, so he likes to reuse, reduce and recycle:-)

So it's the rats' turn first right?
Also, are piles of junk (e.g. H-14) difficult / blocking terrain? |

Just to clarify, as combat has started climbing down the rope will take up part of your turn and will take place during combat.

So the rats go first with no surprise round...I can't really keep track, is everybody down at this point? If the move takes up our movement phase during our turn, I imagine that we won't actually get down there until after the rats make their first attack. I think I'm reading that right, but can somebody clarify? Just want to make sure I'm not as confused as I feel:-p
If that is the case Achenar might be kinda messed up by the time we get there...heh. Thanks! |
