That was me - many apologies !
I think it's due to the fact I have been mainlining Spider-Man comics sinceI was 3 years old. Since Spidey does the witty banter thing even in the most desperate of battles I cannot help but feel any superhero I play must do the same thing ! I appreciate you calling my efforts an "attempt" at witty banter !! I thought they were less than sterling,

G'day folks !
Foggy Knight: It wasn't a direct quote from Spidey, more like I am heavily influenced by his style of banter ! See, I am a bit of a smart-ar$e and like to throw out funny/stupid ideas in my "real" life, so it is hard for me NOT to do the same when I am in the game. I probably could play a grim and gritty character (like Watchmen's Rorscarch , but not sure I would enjoy it ! Roshti: Batman is awesome !!! With any luck I will be starting my own podcast in which I discuss my favourite run of Batman comics ever - the run from issues 400-500. So much good stuff in there, starting with Batman: Year One, the famed Frank Miller re-telling of Batman's origin, and the one that Chris Nolan used in Batman Begins. Beany: I also love Captain America, which is great because Ed Brubaker's stories for the last few years (starting with the relaunched Captain America #1) have been awesome ! And how cool was the First Avenger film ?? In my opinion it was the best Marvel movie so far. The trailer for the Avengers movie looks brilliant and I am already impatient for it to be released ! Hope I am not boring you with endless comic talk - much to my poor wife's chagrin I can keep up such prattle for hours !

Haha I've experienced the same thing you are with your lady Brett. Many a girlfriend has told me to shut it after an hour or two talking about Batman.

I have yet to see the First Avengers, but if it is as good as X-Men: First Class, I'll love it! I wasn't as thrilled with the X-men trilogy after the first movie though. I don't have the dispensable funds to collect comics, but I love anything I can get my hands on for free! There's a library I visit an hour away once a month for a group I volunteer in, and I always make sure to get there early so I can read the comic books and comics they have.
__________________ My library doesn't have as big a section, and they mostly fill it with manga and anime. Batfan: I do have Spiderman books if you're interested, from 1997.

I am assuming that the 'huge metal shelf blocking the door' is a plot device intended to keep us all in the room participating in the fight, and keeping outsiders from making things more complicated?

Yeah, I'm figuring that too, but other than that, not sure what to do. Didn't think there was enough room. I think I might progress with the changes next couple of rounds. I figure the metamorphoses that were permanent might have a different timetable than the ones that can switch back.
