G'Day everyone !
Hope you have all recovered from your various Halloween activites with no ill-effects from drinknig too many spirits ! (Sorry about that, have wanted to use the "drinking spirits on Halloween pun all day, but no-one here at work did anything to celebrate the day) Roshti: Let me know when you want to exchange lengthy e-mails about Batman (especially on the new 52 stuff, which has been a mixed bag to say the least) and I will ghappily oblige. Foggy Knight: Thanks for the offer of Spidey comics, however I have all of the issues from 1984 thru until the "first volume" ended in the mid-2000s. First Avenger was even better than X-Men First Class, which has now become my third favourite movie of the year, edged by the previously hyped First Avenger and a gentle film from the UK about teenage romance called Submarine. Surprisingly there are no explosions or costumed do-gooders in the film, instead there are witty voice-over monologues and funny/bittersweet moments. However it is one that I reckon will stay with me for a while. Well worth the effort to track down, especially if you have ever been a teenager in love for the first time. I am hoping Sky Witch posts soon, as I am hanging for another superhero RPG fix. If not, though, and we lose our illustrious comrade, can I throw in my suggestion of the game running without SW ? I reckon with run with the folk we have (perhaps something nasty happens to SW in the current fight, or they decide to leave us alone as dangerous reality TV show stooges ??) until we can have a replacement PC found and inserted organically into the game. I am sorry we must discuss such matters, but it is better to ask the questions now to avoid further delays in the future Have a great day heroes !

You're right Batfan, I've been meening to sort it out for a while now but have been busy. I sent SW a PM several days ago but have had no reply so I figure I will give them until the end of the fight, with me NPCing her until then, before I kick them officially from the game if everyone agrees? Either way I will carry the fight on and sorry again for yet another delay.

Agreed. I will be sorry to see Skywitch go, but I would like to see the game continue. I just hope it isn't due to the power loss experienced in my state due to the sudden Halloween snow.

Sorry for the few days delay, guys. Moving yet again (Sixth time in the last three years or so).
__________________Brett: I don't mind at all discussing Batman, but due to moving from a huge city to my small hometown again, I haven't had the outlet for comics as I once did. But I should be getting Arkham City in the next few days which I am very excited about!

That's a shame, Roshti. Having lived in rural Australia I know just how hard it can be to get comics.
You may want to try a mail-order/internet service that sponsor a lot of the comic podcasts I listen to. It's Discount Comic Book Service, I think the address is dcbservice.com. Their prices are really cheap (they had an offer of 50% off all the new #1s from DC Comics) and shipping is reasonable. Another good one is Instocktrades.com, who are also cheap and give free shippig on orders over $50. Sadly, they only ship to US addresses so us foreigners miss out on the bargains  Beany: Man, you must have put in some decent hours to have completed Arkham City ! My mates and I have played it in turns for about 4 hours and are apparently only 1% through it !

The fact you have completed the campaign and a heap of the missions and are still only at 40% (that's not even halfway through !!!) blows my mind ! I was not able to hang with the geek boys and play the game this weekend, hopefully will get the chance next weekend. Yesterday they took down Solomon Grundy

Sorry about the obscurity of the reference ! I realised after I posted it that I should have included an ooc field with a quick explanation.
I have to admit though that I do like to read stuff that I personally do not know, just so I can learn the information required to get the reference - especially now that doing that research is just chucking in a google search instead of trying to find the appropriate book/movie at the local library
