Just FYI, Trequs, if you're that far away I won't be able to get you with my Daily (which will grant everyone 5 resist damage). It has a 5x5 area of effect. Probably won't be a big deal as the melee are usually the ones taking all the hits.
For that reason, I'm waiting for Bertram and Brita to move in on the dragon before using it. After they get their hits in, I will push it a square. Since he's prone, that means he will be out of range of melee attacks when he stands up. |

Hmm...I guess I should have saved my teleport for next time. I was too afraid of getting crippled by either his breath weapon or some kind of moving attack like the first one had. Since I've already taken my turn I'll leave it alone for this fight, but I'll keep that power in mind when we get to the next dragon/big fight.

Hmm.. no, it does NOT stack if the resist type is the same. So if yours is "resist all", then no, it won't stack.
However, if you have 5 "resist all" and 5 "fire resist", and you get hit with a fire attack, I *think* you have resist 10 to that damage. DH might want to correct me here. Last edited by Rej; 11-22-2011 at 01:27 AM. |

Obviously I can take a shot at bringing him 2 squares closer to the ground, but I can also drag him 2 squares closer to where Betram is at the same time.
Does anyone have a reason I shouldn't bring the dragon closer to the party? As it stands now, all four of you are probably in breath weapon range anyway. If anyone wants to take their turn while he's still in the air for any reason, I can wait on mine. And if nobody needs him closer to the ground right now I'll go for a fire hawk this time around. How far can you bring him down? If I can hit him this time I'll slow him. Anyone else have a power that drops the dragon? I say drop him to us if possible. We could just stay in the zone and take less damage. The poison is doing nothing right now. Slow doesn't matter since we have to stay in the zone. I would like to keep him marked though

I can move him 2 squares, so everyone will still need a successful athletics check to hit with a melee attack.

ok here's whats up.
__________________I still have my call to arms. so if he is within 3 squares of me anywhere, I can mark him. I have dragonfear, which I plan on using next so everyone can have CA again and he takes -2. If I use dragonfear from a range it still counts as engaging because it is an attack. Then I have Valorous smite, but I need to melee for that. Next chance I get I will nova on the thing but I only have about 2-3 turns left before I can't effectively mark him anymore. Maybe he won't live 2-3 turns, but thats not the point. If I run out of ways to keep a constant mark, this is gonna be a ranged fight and he's gonna pick everyone but me off since I can't touch him anyway. I'll wait for you to post up your turn trequs, guess I should have used my slow effect last turn. meh. ill pop it if I hit next time also- this guy has a **** ton of HP. not even bloodied yet. Doghealer- Moment of glory effect- we don't have to be in the zone right? We were already in the blast, and as long as Rej sustains it, we can move about and keep the resist 5? It just occurred to me that if I hit it first this round we're wasting the hit point bonus from Astral Seal. If Rejuvyn or Bertram want to take the first shot to get that health back, that's fine by me.

Correct. Those that were in the blast initially (and the caster) gain resist 5 all. That condition remains with you, regardless of all other variables, as long as Rej sustains it each turn.
