In return, Kimi must go insane. Last edited by Proudboar; 05-29-2012 at 12:26 AM. |

I'm going to say no. Not because I'm against Kimi going insane, but because I'm against her suddenly going insane. I had a warlock that started off a little bit bi-polar, and was meant to progress to a Gollum-like personality disorder, but it never got that far.
Also, I'm fairly sure she's going to get at least a little bit stranger as the story progresses. If she goes insane, it won't be the way you're thinking. And pointing out Hodo, it was Koth who stabilised him, remember? |

Yes, but Hodo is completely autonomous and was made as construct from pure air. It's essentially using Koth's barrier to keep it in shape, and from decaying. That was the problem earlier, Elm wouldn't have been able to keep Hodo around long enough, as the mental effort required would have simply been impossible.
__________________If he were to make a limb, and thanks to the fact that the Essence was infused with in him, the construct would be able to more easily take it's shape, as Elm subconsciously knows the layout of his body. Essentially, the essence is remembering the shape of his limbs, and using his own body as a power source. Hodo had neither a medium, or it's own source of power (Until Spork charged him up with her gun) I mainly pointed out Hodo as evidence to Elm's ability to create complex constructs. He could create Hodo, but was not able to keep it's form indefinitely nor did he have a source of power that was suitable. That's where everyone else came in. |

And there would never be any complications to maintaining that arm's shape. Ever.

Fun fact: the only other character i know of with a transmorphic arm is a goblin by the name of Dies Horribly.

So, in nominating Axi's post in the middle of the escape for Post of the Month (I intend to nominate all of you until you've all received your appropriate recognition for this craziness!), I tried to summarize the situation.
__________________This is potentially one of the most insane things I have ever written - "The team, being chased by a swarm of mechanized pixies before they've even received their first real mission after being pardoned from death row, were running into various obstacles through the steampunk/magicka city of Undercloud. Their vehicle, a busted Model T-esque contraption now being pulled by a clockwork dog made of shadows, had entered a stretched time field where they could interact with themselves in an effort to thwart their pursuers." |

It all seems so commonplace... as in, it doesn't seem so ridiculous when you're wrapped up in the world. But trying to explain it like that seems rather far fetched. I know that chase scene wore people out, but it was a blast to read! (and no orphans were harmed in the process)

There's a good chance that there's someone else you should be holding down

Partly! Now you have to go back and kill them all, or something ^.^

Well, first, Elm had to press the buttons. I rolled the d3 to determine which button he pressed first, going by the order in which they first named so it ended up being green. I just ha no idea if pressing one first would determine the sequence in which they activated or not, so I thought it best, just in case.

That is an interesting choice of names for the professor. Where I come from, its not an overly well used name. Where did you get the inspiration?
