[Game Thread] Group 1, Chapter 1: It is a new world

Vikof attempts to smile in a non-threatening way. "We apologise for scaring you. We saw those petrified people out there, and we were worried that whatever petrified them was still around. Our archer here," Vikof motions towards Devon, "Was attempting to hit that bell up there as that might have startled whatever it was into the open."

[Embrodak]

"Yes.. I missed. Missed bad. We heard a scream and came running. We found the arrow with no sign of blood. I trust no one was hurt. I deeply apologize for scaring anyone." Devon says as sincerely as he can, which as he was truly sorry should come off as he is truly sorry.

[Barlycorn]

“Petrified? That’s a funny thing to say. I don’t think they was scared, most didn’t see it comin’” says the blind old woman, “an’ just cuz you missed don’t make it right, shooting around children. Now who are you and what do you want?” The old woman seems to have ignored the offer to share food but you see a couple of the children peek around her skirts.

"You are correct Ma'am. I apologize for my carelessness. We saw the strange statues and were trying to be carefull. I took a shot at the bell to bring out anyone before we got too close." Devon says with a true apologetic tone in his voice.

"Can you tell us about the statues?" he asks quizzically. "They look so life like."

Vikof glances back at Devon as he speaks, then looks at the woman again, curious about her answer.

Janus listens to conversation between his companions the old woman and when the right moment arrives he quietly speaks We have stated our reason for being here and have apologized for the rash actions of one of our members. Now, I believe it is time to allow the children to eat.
