[OOC] Out of Character Thread

Hey everyone. Narsis posted his app literally less than half an hour after I chose characters, and his background is such that I'd like to take him. The problem is that this means there would be 2 druids and 6 characters in the party rather than 1 and 5, and encounters would have to be scaled up to compensate. Is there anyone who adamantly opposes this?

Since you might have taken him over me, I certainly can't complain if you'd like to expand the group. Not that I would have minded in any other circumstances, either. Besides, we look like very different characters for all that our classes are the same.

Hi there! The more, the merrier. If we make it to levels 5+, it will be a very tough group with 4 spellcasters.

You're the DM. If you think you can use another player for the good of the campaign, then go for it!

I'm all for a challenge... besides, the way our group sits now i think we can handle a scaled up fight or 20.

Quick question on post method... do you have a preference on posting in first or third person? Certain methods of typography? quoted bold for speech, comma wrap for inner monologue, italics for emphasis, etc...

I see the game thread up but won't be available to make a proper post till later this afternoon/evening.

Preference is 3rd person, bold for text, alternate color for language other than Common, italics for thoughts.

Keep in mind that's just a preference.

Let's say you reported to a hired emissary of Bardin's sometime within the previous week, who arranged your meeting with him at 4 p.m. today. And there is an inn/tavern nearby you've likely all been staying in, though you didn't get here at the same time.

Better on a Knowledge: Local check than on "I attack the gazebo!"

Also, not sure why you rolled Knowledge - Religion, but here you are.

Rolled religion to coincide with local... ie, if local was high enough to bring to light a strong religious background, religion check would give more in depth to stack....

But... with my epic 1, i kinda chucked it to the wind haha.
