Though our opinions might not matter... I'd say it does sound like a balance issue to me, and I'd say don't change it. Being a genjutsu master doesn't instantly give you taijutsu skills, just the illusion that you have them. Plus, even if it's not a class skill, if I'm not mistaken you can still put points into it at double the price, which to me reflects the difficulty in training at something that you're not used to. Also what you said about the profession thing is true.

Ok I should be done unless you want more. I have a question about the genius nin thing as I'm not sure I'm reading it right. How would it work if you took the level 8 tech?
__________________1 level 8 tech and 0 level 7 and skip right to 6 or would you get 1 level 8 and 1 level 7. I understand if you chose not to take an 8 you said you get the 2 7's.

The first one.
__________________You can choose 1 8, or 2 7s. Or maybe 5 6s if you really really wanted it to be that way. Basically, you feel out the chart same as usually would, except that you can elevate one technique rank to the step above it on the tree, losing it from it's original position. Since most people would use this to get a technique in one of the scarce upper fields it would probably take one of two forms: 8 - 1 7 - 0 6 - 2 5 - 4 4 - 8 etc. or 7 - 2 6 - 1 5 - 4 4 - 8 etc. The idea is to let you at least get some benefit out of the feat right off the bat without letting it become too powerful.

To answer that Class Skill question is easy, take one of the occupations in the D20 Naruto book and make them pernament class skills. I'm taking Mentored.
__________________Also On HP, by half do you mean normal half or statistical half. Normal Example: 6 + 3x6 = 24hp. Statistical Example: 6 + 3.5x6 = 28

I meant normal. Your enemies will be using normal as well so it should be fine.
__________________The skill question was actually a bit too complex to be solved with just Mentored. It had to do with class requirements and bloodline requirements and turned out to be more or less unsolvable even taking mentored for granted. Last edited by Rahzeil; 03-05-2012 at 09:09 PM.

Meh, Also after looking more into the book I'm adjusting my character a bit. Still going to be Heavy Genjutsu, but I'm not going to specialize in it too heavily. His weakness will low levels of Taijutsu though.
