I feel like I should apologize for my general lack of contribution to the conversation in-game. I think I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around the setting. Anyways, I'm not normally so mute in character. In fact, I'm kinda leading the pack in another similarly investigatory style game. I'll re-visit the wiki info and hopefully be more helpful before too long.

EDIT: A political map of Golarion would be incredibly helpful...anyone know of one?

Duke, you had mentioned some time ago that Leinda's AC was lacking, but I have a hard time finding things to spending money on and none of the armor I came across was appealing. If it's alright with BK that I do a little post-start, pre-combat shopping, what would you recommend, keeping in mind I'm already a little encumbered?

Also, (in-game), I think we're still in the company of the eunuch, so I assume we'll gain entry via his endorsement:

Forgot to answer this, but I saw it again and my memory's not so bad that I'll forget it again. Everyone else, feel free to chime in here.

A enchanted mithral chain shirt is great for adding a lot of armor without adding weight, armor check, or impairing your ability to add DEX to AC.

+1 Mithral Chain Shirt: 2100 GP (100 base + 1000 mithral & masterwork + 1000 enchant), +5 AC, Light Armor, -0 ACheck, Max +6 DEX to AC, weighs 12.5 lbs. A lot more expense than studded leather, but lighter and better overall.
+2 Mithral Chain Shirt: 5100 GP. As above, but more expensive and one more point of AC.

Beyond that? A Ring of Deflection +1 is 2000 GP, an Amulet of Natural Armor +1 is 2000 GP, the two types of bonuses don't conflict, and both items are functionally weightless. A belt of incredible dexterity +2 for 4000 GP improves your AC and a whole lot else, only weighs 1 lb.

Also, consider dropping a bit of money and get magical weapons. It looks like you've already got masterwork, but you'll do more damage (not something Lienda's got a lot of), bypass some DR, and be able to hit ghosts and whatnot.

Not the "right answer" to this situation necessarily, but I think it's sound advice.
