Post of the Month Winner Announced!

The first Post of the Month contest under the new rules has come to an end, and our community came through once again with a selection of posts so outstanding it took our judges a very long time to decide which should be named the best.

Now, with no further delay: the Post of the Month winner for April 2012 is ... Tangler!

In a game as heavily geared toward combat as D&D, all too often the time a character spends outside of combat (which, let's be honest, is about 99.9% of his or her life), gets short shrift. With this post, however, Tangler gives us a lengthy, insightful look into the character of Fahd, as the young mystic seeks out the perfect bowl for brewing potions and grapples with his emotions and attraction to a new member of the party. The tone ranges easily from lighthearted to introspective, stoking our curiosity about what is to come.
