He was on briefly on the 5th of June. I'm not sure what has happened with him though. I hope nothing bad happened to him.

DMing overwhelms people. I've had the experience myself, though it's never quite toppled me to the point of making me disappear. However, I'm not everyone and when a DM disappears within a few weeks of game start my assumption is generally that they are feeling overwhelmed by the amount of time and effort DMing takes, especially in pbp, and can't bring themselves to get over these feelings. I could be wrong of course.

Yeah, I can empathize with that. Honestly I started DMing two games before I was probably really ready to do so, and it has been more an effort of will power than anything else that has kept me going so far. I can hardly hold it against Shades, who had just joined the site, for not realizing the amount of work such an endeavor entails. Though I am sad this game is falling apart because I was really excited to do some planes hopping!

Indeed, I am dming 3 games myself. Not a problem right now, but back when I was still in school it was monstrously difficult to keep up. I ultimately had to tell my players that I would be only posting once or twice a week until the end of the semester. I too, was looking forward to the plane hopping (even if I totally wasn't expecting it )

I put insane amounts of effort into Amir though, so now I'm irate.

Ok, I'm back, and I am planning on continuing this game.

Right now my choices are:

A) Wait for Shades and in the meanwhile run all the games myself

B)Recruit a new Co-DM

C) Pull the parties together quicker


I'll make a thread where you guys can vote on which everybody would rather do.
