Niggling Little Question
Just how do I determine my hp? I'm a relatively new player and my sole source of information is the SRD on wizards.com. It's comprehensive enough to play a basic campaign, but a critical failing is that doesn't tell me a thing about how to calculate my health. Help a newbie out! |

If you look under Tools > 3.5e SRD, they give you a little more detail there, but basically:
__________________1) Your hit die type (say you're making a fighter, for example) is a d10. You roll a ten sided die and that value is your base health for that level. (It is added to the rest of your hp from previous levels, if any. 2) Add your Con bonus (be it +2, -1, etc) to each hp roll. 3) Add anything extra from feats, etc... Voila! HP! |

Also, you get full hitpoints at 1st level.

Aye, you won't find it on the SRD. They don't give info on making characters. Almost as if they wanted you to have to buy the books... Odd...
