Being pushed by the big bugbear forward, Skibobz gives the hairy brute a brash look, but perhaps some part of his years at the bottom of the food chain gives him the wisdom to hold his tongue. He was unsure of what to do, he had power now. What did that mean? Did he take orders? Did he give them? Was he better then other goblins? What about the hobgoblins and the bugbears? Part of him wanted nothing more then to let his head expand to new never before concieved of proportions another part of him... Another part of him was afraid... Maybe he should ask someone, someone he could trust, trust an honest answer from...But who? Who haz truth look? Who lookez truthfool? Who not lie to Skibobz, make him weak again? Glancing around sporadically at the group he realizes he should ask a goblin, someone at his own level, so as not to get a biased answer... He's eyes go to Nuk-Nuk first perhaps...But no for whatever reason, that surely made sense to Skibobz if not to others, his eyes skipped over Nuk-Nuk and onto the she-goblin. Striding over to her a stupid look on his ugly face Skibobz introduced himself. Me Skibobz! Me makez magick! To demonstrate he held his hands up above his head in claws and whispered "Tseew! Tseew!" like a child imitating lightning.

Gol watched it all unfold, barely able to disguise the frustration he felt about the chosen group. Two of the goblins appeared to be jesters, the female appeared anxious to help (which was good), and the worg looked absolutely confident- which was a very good sign. He wouldnt even begin to wager on the bugbear, but if it came to conflict, he knew their race would represent themselves appropriately.
__________________Change would come slowly and it wasnt going to start if he didnt lead them successfully on this mission. He paused for a moment before turning and following the goblins and worg on their way out. Behind him, the bugbear moved to follow as well and Gol addresed him quickly, "If this is all that we have, then let's move now. I dont see any reason in waiting." |

I have to admit that the fascination with dresses only reinforces Gol's desire to recreate the society =P

Smiles softly that the warg, Banehallow, didn't snap at her or try to attack her in anyway... it was refreshing to get a nice answer from someone... even though they stood out amongst the party.
__________________She slows her steps down to follow behind Nuknuk, not closely but a good five feet or more. it was then that another fellow goblin in the party approached her and introduced himself she seemed startled at first but relaxed at how obviously cute and silly he was... in a misshapen odd ball sort of way. "U-um H-hello Skibobz..." she says timidly still not use to the people shes teamed up with this may remain for awhile until she gets used to their company... if they're around her enough... since her job basically has her running ahead of the group at all times... and isolating herself from them. "N-nice to m-meet you... My name is S-stonelaugh." she says this quietly, her body giving little quakes like shes cold only truthfully she was quite scared , not of skibobz but of most male goblins in generally. All that may be assumed from her is she was mistreated by the others in the tribe causing her to be an isolationist thats too afraid to run away from the threat. After a short walk, the group finds themselves at the very west point of the horde's encampment.
Here a blind goblin adept makes her money by telling fortunes and selling potions to passers by. Behind her tiny straw and wood shack is a deciduous forest filled with trees of all shapes and sizes. Before a single footstep was taken in the woods, a yippy voice called out to them. "Excuse me! Would you folk care to buy some things? Perhaps you could get your fortunes told?", the blind goblin shouts, though she faces in the wrong direction, she appears to be addressing the group. |

The warrior-priest nearly collided with the smaller goblins as they came to a stop to hear the rantings of the crazy female. Still, Gol begrudgingly loved the comedy of errors that was this poor troupe already. With the voice of authority, he answered the she-goblin,

Skibobz tilted his head to the side, puzzled by this. Was she frightened by him? Had his powers increased to such levels!?! Could he now lord over others!?!
__________________Or was this something else? Either way this she-goblin didn't seem repulsed by his odd coloration so perhaps his sorcery had earned him some measure of respect. Hi Stonelaugh, me azk yooz a queztion later, okay? He cackled and smiled his big yellow eyes darting back and forth noting this or that seam of cloth or that stray hair on Stonelaugh. Yooz a cold? But before Stonelaugh could answer the blind fortune-teller was before them. Ready to tell their fortunes. Before any of the others had a chance to speak Skibobz moved forward, his eyes no longer erratic but focused entirely on the fortune-teller. Skibobz wantza fortune told! Skibobz wantza all magicks! He stated flatly his hands unconsciously reaching for some of the she-goblins reputedly magic potions which lay in the hut. |

This should be good for a laugh. thinks Banehallow whilst grinning. "Alright fortune teller, how many throats am I going to tear out today?" He howls in appreciation of his own joke, and then waits silently for an answer.

The adept turns to face the right way, quickly responding to the questions and comments, "Well! I don't tell fortunes for free! Five pieces of gold a question!", she cries in her high-pitched voice, "A deal considering you'll glimpse at fate itself! Yes?"

Without hesitation, the little magic-obsessed goblin plunged his grimy long-fingered hand into a small pocket quickly pulling out a few coins.
__________________One...Two...Thuree... Here he stopped, and tilted his head like he was trying to figure out something. Sticking his tongue out slightly he furrowed his brow in concentration. Oh! Skibobz knowz! Nextez iz four! Zen five! Looking over at the half-blood in his shining armor Skibobz sent him an overexagerated wink, as if it was joke between two kindred spirits, or perhaps just trying to fit in and not look like a dolt who could barely count. Skibobz, knowz hiz numburz! Handing the coins over to the wrinkled old she-goblin, Skibobz sat back on his haunches looking up at her, rubbing the cold out of his hands, and waiting for the magic... Snarling at the fortune teller, Banehallow barks his words. "You expect me to pay?" For all the good it would do, he glared at her with fiery orange eyes. He huffs and gives in, speaking a barely audible word that sounds like gibberish. The dead hand around his neck convulsed and closed into a fist. Suddenly a small pouch on his belt opens up and five gold coins float gently to the table. "So fortune teller, tell my fortune." Blood, gore and bitches I hope.

Ghirek waits, interested in what the adept has to say before commiting his money.

As she pocketed her coins, she pulls out a deck of cards. The little goblin shuffles the card and chants an incantation of some sort. She draws six cards, placing three in the direction of both Banehallows and Skibobz. The adept slowly flips the cards over, revealing faded pictures with words written in braille.
"Worg! Your reading I have! I see your hardships will soon be at an end. I also see a chance for you to find what you are passionate about, but you will have trouble persevering your new goals." , she nearly shouts, not wanting to repeat herself. She then points to the other goblin that had payed her, "You! I see shame in your past with no love in your immediate future... I see your future will be filled with confusion and powerlessness. Good luck with that!" |

Little Stonelaugh was interested in her reading so she quietly and nicely pushed her way to the teller and handed over her gold "I-i am interested in my f-fortune."
