Banehallow grins coldly at Skibobz. "Looks like you got the short straw little one. I promise to throw a few coins your way when I find you in the gutter." He laughs with a sort of bark attached the end, and then sits waiting for the others to finish. Eventually getting impatient, Banehallow pads around behind the group, little snarls erupting from his lips.

Turning to the higher pitched voice, the blind adept accepts her money and draws three more cards, repeating her previous actions.
"I see your past has been a challenge. Very soon you will find a brief happiness and your luck will turn around for the better in the distant future.", she cries out, in a mystic tone, "Anyone else? I'm saving up for a crystal ball!" |

Skibobz sat still on his haunches, too stunned to speak, his big eyes just staring at the blind adept as if expecting something more. Ignoring the Worg, Skibobz closes his eyes for a moment, just thinking.
__________________Whatz it mean? I havez powerz! I have magickz! Will I looze zem? Will Skibobz looze hiz powerz?...Iz magickz not power?[/B] Slowly opening those great lids of his Skibobz spoke with a sudden moment of clarity to the old adept. Will I get better after the confusion and powerlessness? It was almost eye-popping for a small sliver of an instant it was as if something else was staring out of this huge yellow eyes, his voice had changed its accent dropping away and it was deeper then it had ever sounded before. A glint of knowing, of acceptance, and intelligence flickered in those eyes. His shoulders stood a little bit prouder a little straighter. It was like Skibobz had left and someone, someone far greater, had taken his place. Listening intently to the adept's answer Skibobz nodded his head, Thank you. and walked slowly, patiently away, as he walked by Banehollow he looked right into the Worg's glowing eyes without flinching. Banehollow, she said that your hardships would soon be at an end. On a life or death adventure that is never a good phrase to hear. Nodding in respect to the Worg he walked on, and suddenly his shoulders sagged, his gait become nervous, and once again a small, stupid, confused, goblin was standing amongst the party. Iz yaz all comings? We muzt go before itz dark! |

Little Stonelaugh Blinks and wonders at her fortune and skibobz change in personality and grammar. She moves away from the teller and notices the bugbear was looking for something. She looks at her money pouch and fishes five coins out for him to get his fortune told "H-here get y-yours done too", she smiles sweetly and moves on.

The blind goblin grins from ear to ear. She eagerly accepts the gold placed in her hand. Again, drawing three cards and feeling them.
"Ooh! Yes! I see traces of guilt in your past, not nearly as strong as they once were. However, I see change as you will soon rethink your life. For better or worse, only time can tell." After she finishes, the adept begins to again feel the coins given thus far. "Ooh! I'll soon have a crystal ball! If you talented folk return, make sure you save some gold! Maybe your fortune be different then, yes?" |

Ghirek frowns "Alright, we've used up enough of our time, let's get moving"

Let me know when all of you feel like moving on and I'll just move you into the forest.
I'm going to need some survival checks and if you wish to move about undetected, you'll need to make some hide and move silently checks as well. Don't worry about spot and listen checks, I will be the one rolling your check when those nasty beasties come near. The cluttered, undergrowth forest floor halves movement, charging or running is impossible without the proper Balance Check (DC15), and the farthest enemy that can be detected is 2d8 x 10ft (Which I will roll before combat). When I post the maps I'll show areas of even heavier undergrowth, which cuts down speed by a quarter and makes charging or running impossible. More info on forest terrain can be found here. I advise you to take a look, as I'll expect everyone to follow these rules. This forest is of medium denseness, so their will be large patches of dense undergrowth as well. PM me for more info. When combat begins, everyone will roll initiative. Those who noticed the danger may act in the first round, others must wait until the threat becomes obvious (normally round 2). We will not wait for you forever, you will be skipped. |

The priest simply waited, a smile upon his face at the series of exchanges between the goblins. As Ghirek finally lost patience, Gol-gundir agreed, "Thank you seeress, but our time here is at an end. Let's depart."

Banehallow barked his agreement, giving Gol-gundir a rare smile. He is a man of slaughter, perhaps there will be some fun with these oddballs afterall. "Best we leave now, I'm itching to see some combat." He walks away with the group, and after ensuring he's out of earshot from the seer he turns to them with a wicked smile. "So anyone want their gold back? We could always pay the blind old idiot another visit on our way back."

Ghirek frowns at Banehallow.

We may take what we like from the humans and Ventafens during our raids, but to keep order within the horde we must treat each other with a measure of respect. The seer is off-limits." Ghirek presses ahead of the group, the undergrowth giving him no trouble and the foliage reforming behind him. |
