The gladiators line and and discuss certain things, mostly introductions to the new people in the arena for the first time. Vryce takes his seat at his throne, his chin resting on the palm of his hand as he looks out over the garden. The shrubs seem to move and twigs break as small figures jump out of the shrubs. The look like gnome, or at least are closely related to them. They appear not to be wielding any weapons. Code:

__________________Upon finishing his response, he notices the "Garden gnomes". "Speaking of power, we got contact!" Loosing his first rock towards one of the "Gnomes", landing a dead on hit. "Direct hit!!" He could almost see the gnome recoiling form the rock... "Woah... thats a bit off... maybe it's the mass ratio." Dir moves up slightly forward, knowing at least to avoid what happened to Vicar in the first fight. |

Vicar fires off a rock from his sling and slugs the gnome directly in the temple, knocking it clearly unconscious as it's eyes roll into the back of his head and it's brain continues to knock around inside it's skull. His dire rat moves in front of him. Although the druid is able to take one of them out, another one replaces it from somewhere inside the bush.
The other gnomes converge closer to their enemies. Code:

All this waiting and all we get are miserable gnomes? Never mind, time to burn!
Then again, these small sneaky creatures might prove hard to hit, and I don’t want to start the fight with a miss… better go with something more reliable. Still, Therik smiled as if he enjoyed the feeling of magic coursing through his body, his eyes glowed reflecting the magical arrow leaving his fingertips. With a flourish of his greatsword, Markus moves forward, careful to avoid the thorns. He comes to a stop, spinning his sword in a figure-eight, lashing out at one of the gnomes, who nimbly ducks the attack. markus curses under his breath and waits for the counterattack.

Fellethis frowns at the 4 oncoming gnome.Well, lets see what options do i have here? He finally decides, He focuses just behind the 4 oncoming gnomes, he rips off a piece of wool off his traveling cloak. Using the wool to focus he mutters a few words. Just behind the gnomes the sound of a muttering can be heard and the sound of a sword being drawn along with someone muttering what sounds like a spell. |

Round 1 End
Larus moves up to the closest gnome to him and with a slash of his falchion is able to cut the creature down into the dirt.
Fellethis starts to cast a spell, sounds appear within the arena that weren't there originally, sounds that would normally chill a mans spine and make him run for cover. The gnome seem unaffected by the spell. Logic presumes nothing else could get into the arena after the gates closed. Therik conjures and spell of arcane energy and it propels itself into one of the small gnomes, the smell of burnt foliage arises into the air. Togar and Markus move closer, both swing at their enemies, but miss. Vicar and his rat move forward and prepare themselves. Two of the gnomes converge on Larus, both of them try to bite him, however only one lands the blow. The gnomes teeth sink into the muscles of the warrior and chews at teh flesh. He can feel his muscles tensing and starting to move slower. The others go after Markus at the choke point of the garden and all try to bite them man. Only one, like Larus, is able to get through his defenses. The little gnome latches on as his poison is deposited into the blood stream of the man. Code:

"Well, can't do much form behind..." He walking returns to his dropped sling while sheathing his scimitar. "Might as well be able to attack..." He starts to reach down to his sling. |

Markus recoils from the bite, gripping his arm. "You little bastard!" he shouts at the gnome, trying to bring his greatsword around to chop the little thing's head off. Unfortunately, the swing misses, and Markus is once again left cursing.

Sighing fellethis gives up on illusions and decides his next course of action. Seeing Markus's Problem he charges up a bolt of magic, Launching it at the gnome into the gnome in front of him
