He draws his other sword and crouches ready to meet any foe. He proceeds cautiously. |

Walking down the corridor, you notice the fallen, splintered remnants of gilded double doors that lead into a large room. Because of distance, you are not sure what is in the room, but you can see some kind of faint, moving colors inside. OOC: So, you can now go west to the room, or through one of the two doors south. To orb of light floats ahead of Balinor lighting his way but not on the warrior while the ugly little mage follows a discrete distance behind watching.

Tursin's light illuminates what appears to be some kind of ancient throne room. The broken gilded wooden doors are carved with scenes of sword-wielding, armored men riding horses and cutting down orcs and other more fantastic monsters. Just right from the entrance you can see a black table of some kind that seems to be tilted on one side. On the west wall you can see a stone throne atop a triangular, three-stepped dais. Along the south wall you can see a black-bordered painting of some kind - but it is moving! The painting seems to be depicting a battle of some kind. The ceiling appears to be domed. OOC: The map has been updated. |

Holding his spear Ceclit cautiously moves forward to examine the painting.

Balinor watches the "Movie" of the painting to see if it tells us a story or gives us clues as to what to do next. He is also looking to see if it loops. i.e. repeating movie.

Tursin stands along with Balinor dividing his attention between watching the moving painting and moving the orb of light around the room.

Watching the black-framed painting, you see men in various armor fighting elves who wear armor with strange and fanciful fluted points and spurs. The elves are wielding flaming swords and black spears, while the humans are wielding more mundane weapons. They continuously fight silently; you see that as some die on either side, more join the battle. The painting does not seem to loop; if it does loop, it is a very long loop. Besides the painting, Tursin notices a tiny shattered chest under the throne (the throne itself appears to have been vandalized, as gems and metal inlays appear to have been torn off). Barakk finds some kind of rune etched into the once-glossy broken table. Covered with dust, it is hard to see exactly what the rune is depicting, however. Balinor tries to look behind the painting, but it is set into the (stone) wall! You would have to chip the stone away to look behind... Tursin crouches to take a look at the remains of the chest under the throne. The shattered chest appears to be quite a mess - it is hard to tell if anything of value is within the mess, however. Ceclit does not notice any creatures coming to attack the party. |

Tursin gives up on the ruins under the throne and walks over to Barrak. “Did you find anything interesting?” He asks as the orb of light moves over the remains.
