![]() Just kidding: according to Wikipedia , it's the outer form (ie. packaging, appearance, graphic design) of a product. Quote:
(1) Your computer is choking on the file because it's too processor-intensive to decode the large(r) PDF files (2) Your Adobe Acrobat reader software is old and requires an upgrade If it's either of these two, getting another copy of the file(s) isn't going to help much. You'll probably need some sort of upgrade of your computer or software in order to get at those files. (the third possibility: your PDF downloads are in fact corrupted, in which case, a fresh unadulterated copy might be readable by your computer) I hope for your sake it's either 2 or 3 - they're the least expensive of the three possibilities to fix.

hey, I'm putting together my character sheet, and I was wondering if anyone was opposed to me taking the "Love Lost" trait with the "Orphan" selection (Chosen Skill: Profession: Noble, I suppose...). The skill bonus will be just short of useless, considering that my character really didn't learn a whole lot from the experience... however, it does seem to strike him.

Question: seeing Aurex's character sheet reminded me of a question I should've asked a long time ago.

I am almost done with my Character I still have to work out the skill sets and what not and roll/buy equipment. got to let my wife have the computer for while. does anybody know where the Whirling Frenzy variant can be found for the Barbarian? I have it listed for another character but cant remember where its located. I wanted to ask the Dm if I could use this for my barbarian.
__________________Rage Variant: Whirling Frenzy A barbarian with this variant form of rage doesn't gain the normal bonuses when he enters a rage. Instead, when a barbarian with whirling frenzy enters a rage, he temporarily gains a +4 bonus to Strength and a +2 dodge bonus to Armor Class and on Reflex saves. While in a whirling frenzy, the barbarian may make one extra attack in a round at his highest base attack bonus, but this attack takes a -2 penalty, as does each other attack made that round. This penalty applies for 1 round, so it also affects attacks of opportunity the barbarian might make before his next action. Whirling frenzy is otherwise identical to the standard barbarian rage in all other ways. At 11th level (when a standard barbarian gains greater rage), the Strength bonus increases to +6, and the dodge bonus to Armor Class and on Reflex saves increases to +3. At 20th level (when a standard barbarian gains mighty rage), the Strength bonus increases to +8, and the dodge bonus to Armor Class and on Reflex saves increases to +4. A barbarian using this variant doesn't gain indomitable will at 14th level. Instead, he gains evasion, but only while in a whirling frenzy. A character can't use whirling frenzy at the same time that he uses any other form of rage (or similar ability). |

Lymph: Spend the money on your equipment now. Remeber, your character has been alive for 30 years. He has acumulated some stuff in that time. 150 gp worth of stuff, actually. He hasn't been hoarding it all these years and finally decided "Okay, I think an adventure is about to start. I better buy a sword!"

Anyway, I'll allow the trait, since it does fit, and I'm all for devices that help people roleplay. Last edited by Loozer; 03-31-2008 at 08:15 PM. |

The Skills section is confusing the heck out of me.
__________________Table 5-1 says a barbarian gets 4 skills +int mod in my case thats a -1 so I get three +1 for being human for a grand total of 4 skills. In the section titled acquiring skills somewhere near or in the third Paragraph. it talks about Class skills and Cross Class skills It gives the example of if you pick up another class you dont get the starting skills listed in table 5-1 but you get all the class skills for the class you chose. It talks as if there are a set number of class skills for the class if this is the case does it mean I can only have 4 of those skills? or do I get to Pick any 4 skills? |
