Just a heads up - I'm going on a mini-road trip with some friends to go see another friend, so I'll be away from my house until Monday. For some reason I didn't see Canada's first post when I was posting my own post in the gaming posting post post. Are we supposed to continue right through into the city? I can easily edit my post to have Galil speed through the magistrate office as well.

Either way, good to have our own forum finally! I'm looking forward to playing with you all!

Can you pose as if it's a walking stick? Then I'd imagine they'd let you keep it.


You probably shouldn't RP the NPC guards or any NPC to assume that you would know what they do. What you did may need a bluff check to accomplish or if they are aware of wizards you may have to give up your staff and wear magic bracelet for all you know.

DM, what do you need from me sheet wise?

I'm basically trying to use this room with the ledger as a place for the PCs to meet each other, so please don't send your character too far from it just yet (at least meet another PC or two first.) This city is basically good aligned so they're fine with wizards and clerics keeping their basic implements (staff, orb, or wand for a wizard and holy symbol for a cleric) but all weapons that are meant for attacking must be put away (such as swords.) It is not illegal or even unusual to be a wizard, so feel free to just be one, out in the open. Of course, no spells inside the city limits that would hurt people, but you can have a bit of fun with cantrips if you want

Craftyman: the character sheet that I have from you says "Alderan Miester" across the top and doesn't have most of the info (name, player name, etc.) filled in. Is this a 1st draft? Please either fill in the that sheet with your characters name (which I thought was Bordan, but that might've changed) or send me a link to a sheet that you'd like me to use instead.

OK, I'm about to head out for my mini-roadtrip, and I won't be at a computer until at least tonight. I've tried to post up some NPCs to give your PCs something to do. Please, do not leave the area right around the Magistrate's Office until you've met at least one other PC and set up a meeting for sometime later. I want there to be at least a few small ties to bring the party back together at an inn or something later on (for RPing purposes and so that eventually the whole party could feasibly work together.) If you character is more outgoing, perhaps you could strike up some conversations (perhaps you see that another character is of a similar profession to your own based on his weapon, or worships the same god based on his holy symbol or other apparel.) If that's not really your character's style, then let someone else approach you or you can watch the little magic show or talk with the guide-for-higher a bit or something. Carry on, all, and I'll try to post sometime in the next day or so!

Yeah, theres going to be some major editing of my first post don't worry. I really wwasn't comfortable with playing of NPC gaurds, but I wasn't sure what the policies on staffs were.
