Ah crap dammit, am I too late? I've been slacking on dndog heavily due to having to wrestle a hermaphroditic beast the gods charged this soul to be it's caretaker. Procrastination, she's a bitch.

Too late? Nah, we're just doing the little get-together scene to start things. You could have your character wake up and join in now if you'd like, and start in on a character sheet. Did you settle on who/what you're playing yet?

All right, gang, Embro has been busy lately and roaddog seems to have vanished from the face of the 'net. I'm expecting Embro to come back, but it looks like Herc may need a replacement. However it goes, I'm going to keep you guys moving and we'll see what happens.

This is somewhat unfortunate for me, though, because Herc was the character with the most 'high fantasy' setting to draw from, and now it's looking more like we've got almost-strictly-human settings - a small change of pace for the game. Does anybody have any complaints about me continuing to use some of the fantasy elements that aren't common to Robin Hood, biblical stories, and Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail?

I was going to go on the assumption that Tim has heard of this stuff before, but what ever you decide is good with me..

Tim comes from a world where their were Killer Bunnies and multi-eyed cave monsters.

Yeah, we can give Tim a bit of leeway as far as exposure to classical fantasy creatures goes. Monty Python is a bit vague on the topic, but it works well enough. All right, I'm going to keep using some traditional monsters.

And, hey, I might just stat up the Cartoon Menace at some point...

Yeah, Jesus - I mean Joshua - is fine with it too. Anything that seems really strange will, to him, be considered a citizen of Magog (or Gulgotha), since those two places of Christian myth were the original inspiration for a lot of allegorical goblin-type things.
