Making the character Gastalt will require a pretty extensive remake (the current character can't be made Gastalt), luckily, I have an Idea that will be perfect for it, a kind of a super battlecaster:
The idea is to combine the havoc mage's (mini) battlecast ability, with the duskblade's (PH2) arcane chanelling ability, the character should be able to cast a spell, deliver a touch spell through an attack and maybe even do a swift spell... that's up to 3 spells and one attack in one round, what do you think? should achieve it by level 5, and making the caster beguiler and adding some archivist later should make the character a decent thief and a minor divine caster. already putting the character on page, will need to change some of the background and personality...

Remember, the Duskblade's armored mage doesn't apply to other class's spellcasting. Also, you could not perform the attack you are talking of. The Havoc Mage's ability takes a full round action. The Duskblade's ability takes a standard action. You would need to have a full round and standard action.

That's ok, planning to take beguiler with Duskblade, both have armored mage.
About the attack, that's why I asked, as I see it the standard action of arcane channeling is for a single attack (a standard action by itself), meaning that the casting of the spell into the sword comes free as part of the single attack, so it could come come inside the single attack from the Havoc mage, that was what I was thinking, but because it's a little open to interpretations I brought it up before using Duskblade, if you think it wont work I'll probably take something else instead of Duskblade, archivist or spellthief could be great choices

anyway worked on it all day, just finished, figured that if CdL is a warrior, we still need a mage, wizard and cleric... my character will be all (at least by level 2) Hope everything is alright, my first Gastalt character
