Elysia sighs in resignation at Hikari's distilling fury. "I'm sorry, we haven't really met before. I'm Elysia, House White, 2nd Year. I just recognized you from the duels and all. Word gets around quickly, you see." She extends a soft hand, smiling, before returning to her seat near the door.

Pausing for a moment, she turns to face Hikari before sitting down. "I know you don't want to hear this, but... he's right about some things too, you know."

Al'kesh entered the room, and sat down at the desk nearest the front of the room, preferably nearest to the door as well. His double bladed pole axe was in hand, as always. He sat, motionless, waiting for class to start.

Some students had misheard the tale about Rick Jones' expulsion, and assumed that he had been killed outright by Edenne's final blast. This false story had spread like the wildfire they believed had been the clown's doom, and as a result, Monday morning, no one bothered Edenne as she walked from her room to the Cafe, nor on her way from the Cafe to Homeroom. As a result, she was in a reasonably pleasant mood, and when she entered the classroom she did not, as she might have on any other day, greet Lance with a death-stare, and instead smiled at him warmly as she passed. "Good morning," she said to him.

Today she was dressed in red coveralls, a yellow long-sleeved shirt, and, a rarity for a House Red student, a blue beret with a gray feather in it.

As she walked, a tiny wisp of flame followed at her heels. Catching Lance's eye, the flame mimicked the shape of a salute, turned its ignition blue, and kept on walking. Edenne sat down in her usual seat, glanced to her right and to her left, and then stared straight ahead, toward Shem.

Somewhere in House Blue, Odil was developing a terrible headache.

Taxamundi strides in most boringly in comparison, wearing nothing more fancy then the standard Blue House T-shirt, pants, and sandals. The smile in his face however never leaves, like he knows something you don't or is planning something devious.

"Well wishes, this morning." he says as he enters to nobody in particular with a slight bow our of habit, betraying the a faint accent of the Kalachuri Empire. Common doesn't seem to be his first language but he seems to have practiced it thouroughly and often.

He stands by the door as if waiting for something, soon revealed to be what looks like a dark saphire walking behind him on ectoplasmic spidery legs. It skitters over obsticles with ease coming to Tax's feet. breifly orienting itself like a small animal scanning the room. With Tax stepping toward a seat toward the back of the room it seems to be set on the same destination but following a wider course, treating the room as an obsticle course as it heads toward the same seat.

"I do hope I'm not late. Nobody respects a tardy person with my kind of talents afterall."

Another student in blue enters after the boy. She is quite young, no more than 15 years of age at first glance. She is reasonably well equipped in a magical looking cloak and what looks to be some kind of golden circlet hanging at her brow. Even stranger in a student, she has a well crafted and fairly utilitarian rapier hanging at her side, and seems to walk as if she knows how to use it.

She has a well tanned, freckled face with slightly curly red hair falling to just below her shoulders. She appears solidly built, and moves with the grace and self confidence of one who believes no person is her better or worse, and has the strength to back it up.

She looks around the room curiously, before taking a couple of quick steps to move back beside Taxamundi, who she had attached herself to at her dorm and followed here.

As she looks around at the new faces her confidence shrinks slightly, her unbreakable confidence seeming to shrink slightly in the face of a roomful of her peers...

A dark robed man, coarse black enters the room rather late. Sirial, standing around six foot in height was oddly pale this day, deathly pale actually. His sharp piercing blue eyes just gliding around the room as he gave a neutral look to everyone, pausing as he marked out Samara, where the side of his lip seemed to twitch momentarily. Agitated, he stepped fully into the room and glanced towards the Professor and nodded. His blond hair a bit disheveled as his hood was down, black impressions lay under his eyes.

"Apologies for being late... I have been busy with my experiments for the year..."

That was all the explanation that he needed as he walked off towards a clear center left table, Actually in front of Samara if it were believable. Truth of the matter was, he had been writing up a full account of his spell and thesis, upon all of this a personal project that required sacrifice within the crypts. All of it sanctioned, but nonetheless dangerous as he had but a Goblin to help him. He had not slept in the last four days, due to the strenuous hours required to keep the ritual from failing. Which explained why he looked like the dead that he supposedly slept with. Just sitting down, he stared straight towards the Professor, ignoring everything or looking like that. Yet if he didn't care, he would not have sat there, two spaces from his usual location.

A tall young man crashes shoulder first into the doorway, huffing and puffing. His thin frame shudders with the impact, his glossy black hair hanging haphazardly around his ears is almost shoulder-length.
I'm he says before taking another deep breath, sorry I'm another pause to breath, late, ran another deep breath and the boy starts to get himself under control, all the way from my room. I just woke up sir, I'm so sorry.
Having composed himself the boy slides into the room, his thin frame is almost gaunt, (though anyone not first year will remember that he eats like a pig). His black pants brush the straps of his sandals as he walks gracefully across the room, looking around at the other students. He scratches his back through his black t-shirt and then lays one hand comfortably on the rod that is stuck through his belt. After a single circuit of the classroom he settles down next to the blue girl that looks about his age. He smiles and offers his hand, "Hey, I'm Cyric, I'm not sure if we met last year."

Short, thin and red, Candice enters the room with a hesitant air, hands clasped tightly in front of her and purple eyes darting about the corners of the room. After pausing stiffly at the entrance, she scampers inside and takes a seat beside Lily, pushing an errant lock of black hair behind on ear as she leans to the side to murmur her greeting.

Hikari shakes her head in sad frustration. "Which part? The part where he says that outcast lizards with heavy accents are just having fun when they are harassed by four verbal thugs? Or the part where I am foolish to tell them to stop? If it is the second, then I agree, but I must continue to try." She says , shaking Elysia's hand with her tiny one, before settling into a seat herself, a comfortable distance away from the smirking Lance.

Noticing Sirial as he apologized to the professor about his lateness, Samara looked up at him from her text and smiled more or less at the back of his head. When he turned around and approached her desk, her smile brightened and she slipped her Illusions book back in her bag. She was quite concerned about the strange, well, strange for Sirial, state of his face and the fact that his hair was out of place. When he sat down and simply stared forward, Samara became slightly more worried about him and lightly placed her right hand on his shoulder, leaning forward from her desk so she would be closer to him and said, "Hey Sirial, it's good to see you after this whole weekend....are you alright?" Her eyes fell to the ground after hearing how obsessive that might sound. "Sorry...I'm just worried since I didn't see much of you for the past few days." The Half Elf's face was almost over his shoulder so she could speak in a quieted voice, but not far enough to have seen his reactions unless he turned to his right. She patiently waited for his answer with a caring look in her stunning green eyes.

I pause for only a moment before heading to a desk, at first not sure which I was supposed to go to. In the end she chooses one near Taxamundi, deciding that if he is in her house he might share her views a bit more than others.

A frown creases my forehead, But why should that matter? I have drunk in bars with Orc barbarians, dined with elven nobility, even played dice with demons. Why is it that these students scare me more than they..?

Shaking the fear out of my head, I force myself to turn to Taxamundi with a beaming smile, "So, homeroom huh? They never did explain what we are supposed to do here. Last week we pretty much just sat around, but I think that was just cos we had a substitute..."

Lance smiled as Edenne entered the room. He knew who to taunt, and how to anger anyone, but that also means he knows who not to bother. Edenne, was the whole damned second list.
"Good morning."

Then as Taxamundi walked in, Lance just rolled his eyes and kept his moth shut. He was not sure about this one, but knew he was of high blood, and that he was House Blue so the 'prince' just settled to watch him for a bit.

When a girl entered behind Taxamundi on the other hand he stopped to take a second look. He had no idea who she was, she was of his House and by look alone he knew she had talent, power and style. He grinned widely and gave her a look that had half the girls in House Blue after him. Though the older, popular boy, was not likely to really be in to her like that, it was something he often did to make sure that someone like her would listen to him when he spoke. Lance was sure he just found his new project, to raise this girl to be 'House Blue Ruling Class' or simply put, very popular.

Sirial walked past Lance with out a word, but Lance chose to speak under his breath, but loud enough to be heard.
"Closer and closer, Sirial. Don't worry you'll make it to undead soon enough."

When Cyric came in not far behind, Lance rolled his eyes again muttering.
"Oh good... a new line of undead wanna be's. And this round can't tell time."

Lance did not do, or say anything as Candice walked by, she did not even make his radar.

Lily did not look up, did not notice and did not hear each new student arrive in class. That is, until her friend showed up. With Al-Kesh the strange robed fellow from House Black at her left, and her friend Candice at her right, Lily looked up, marked her page and closed the book. She smiled, though it was a little fake looking. Lily then said hello to both of them and turned to face Candice.
"Hello Candice, Class promises to be loud, and disturbing again this week. Though I would think it will be less so than last. I have been told that the Professor will not be leaving the room unattended this week."

Simic did not bother to do anything beyond glance up at each new student. He gave a small nod to any who waved at him, then returned to his studies.

Professor Shem waved away each student who tried to say sorry for being late, stating simply that he was early, and class did not in fact start for a few seconds still and that he'd rather a student be late, than run all the way and get themselves hurt.

Sirial did not speak when Lance spoke with his passing, Undead or not, the remarks would not move him. Nor did he make any notice of Lance speaking of Cyric, if Lance ran his mouth. Bad things may happen, though it would not be Sirial who will show him the other side. As Samara turned, with a neutral face, he would turn his head so that his eyes darted to her.

"Fine, Samara... I've been busy and have given up on sleep..."

He would say in a steady, calm tone. Though he had a ring of sustenance and only needed four hours, he had not even that time to get things in order. Internally, he felt a connection, no matter how small with the Half Elf. Which was strange as Sirial usually fell glassy eyed if there was nothing to learn within the classes themselves. Having already read most of the books required for his year, he just needed to revise what he had learned.

"I hope you are well..."

All his words whispers in a manner of speaking. Not as if he wished to keep his voice low, it just was when he spoke. Dragging upon his nerves, every single sound and voice. Yet he was here, at class without fail. Though he never showed his contempt of such things upon his features.

"Less so than the last, eh?" Candice says nervously, flashing an glaringly fake smile. "I would - I'd hope so, last time was just so disruptive. But then I guess that sort of follows me around, a bit, maybe. Remember in Zelenka's class, when I was drifting away and you used prestidigitation to bring me back?"

"Yes, though you are mistaken in my spell chose. It was a Mage Hand spell. Casting prestidigitation would have been much less helpful, the force it can exude would have taken over an hour to pull or push you back to the building."
Lily folded her hand over her book and took a quick scan of the room, before returning her sight to Candice. She then went on speaking about the topic at hand as if nothing were wrong.
"As said, it seems every class is filled with some form of trouble. Though it should be more contented today, by the Professor's watchful actions, and the fact our roaster for this home room as been altered. Father informs me that the first weekend is known among the staff as the 'Drop Out Ferry'. It is the first time one of the ships leaves the school. It seems number of students quite, were expelled or in rare cases died in the first week, all are sent home Sunday night. So, in a short time Professor Shem should tell us who has left, and who has joined us."
