I dunno, I'm not always quite sure what's going on. I work nights, and when I wake up I see that the story has moved rapidly past the last point I was at. I had a secret message from Lukarnis that I was roleplaying through and it just stopped without notice, so I had to move on with what I figured would have happened.

Tiax...did you get the secret from DareTheRogue as well? There wasn't really a whole lot else after the one I sent you...it was a pretty small incident that has implications to the character, but not really to the rest of the party, nor to this particular moment.

But back the game, I think this is going to be an interesting group to go out into the forever dark darn near endless forest of undead looking for some lost priests. Now all I need to find some creepy music to listen to while I come up with my posts. It has been forever since I played in a good horror game!

@Lukarnis--Yeah, I got that message, I just didn't know if that was the end of the situation. There is always so much posting going on that I'm unsure whether I should just assume we're moving on or wait for DM/Co-DM clarification.
__________________Some DMs like to have total control over a situation and don't want you to post anything they haven't approved, while some don't mind if you take a few liberties here and there, as long as they don't have a major impact on what's going on. So I try not to step on anyones toes. I've got a question--if the plants are all in good shape, do people ever get sunburns from standing out in the 'night' for too long? If not, I guess it would be safe to say everyone is pretty pale and there is some major magic behind the plants staying alive.

__________________As for the event, yeah. Sorry. Should have said more about it being done. The "too late, you already left" thing actually puzzled me, too. Aramais said it was in reference to the theft of pillows, blankets, etc from the inn room. Since you'd already left, he said that you wouldn't be able to grab them. Unless you went back, which of course would look pretty suspicious. walk back in with your pack moderate...leave again a few moments later with it bulging, a corner of blanket or something sticking out here and there... yeah. probably wouldn't let that fly. I wouldn't, anyway. It's still not really my game though. I have a vague outline thing now, however, so...maybe I'll be able to direct somewhat if Aramais goes MIA for any reason. I'm mostly what one could call "creative consultant"...here to spice up the game with character-specific side-stories and whatnot. I'll be watching for opportunities to add a bit of individuality to you guys' situations, beyond your character differences...already have one, it's not giving away too much to mention...hard to hide, really...secret text between players and then a hole in an inn door...that's not natural. But oak express is.

I agree that having your pack stuffed with pillows and blankets is pretty obvious, but of course, Tiax was only grabbing what would fit.
