Okay, made the attack roll for Shalashaska, criticalled too! I rolled damage a second time in case you're one of those DMs that prefers damage rerolls on criticals. If you aren't, then you can take whatever roll you want - the first d8 came up 6 and the second 5, so it's a difference of two damage. Does the enemy have concealment due to darkness or is he close enough to the fire to be seen?

I thought we were in a fortification with walls and towers and such. Are we instead in some trees?
What does that line represent? Where is our fire in relation to us? Is it far away or are we close to it? Can we see any other enemies yet? Is the mino behind trees or is the whole area around him clear? I'm asking because if it's clear we should be able to see things around him and can be pretty confident there aren't others close. Just trying to get a lay of the land before I make my next actions.
