It happened 5 years ago. It seemed as if the sky itself was falling.
Evosha, the second moon of
Sembia shattered in the sky. Great chunks of the celestial body fell to the earth like raging fire. The western lands are no more. They lie crushed under the vast rock that fell from
Evosha leaving crimson scars in the surface of the planet. As the earth shook in the aftermath of the catastrophe, large pockets of the land have fallen into the
Underdark istelf. And those who were fortunate enough to survive seem accursed as a new disease sweeps across the land. Healthy men come home from the fields only for loved ones to notice the red mark on their flesh. Within two days they will be buried. The only place that seems unaffected by the catastrophe is
Pillar, the last bastion of the civilized races.
Pillar is governed by a great Archmage whom many believe to be immortal. The city itself is more of a tower, its foundation stretching from the depths of the earth and its heights stretching into the sky.
It is to this city the world now turns for hope. Who will find the source of this disease? Who will heal the land?
