I am afraid I must respectfully bow-out of this game. Harbek was never really meant to be a full character. He was originally made to be just a toy for playing around in a not so serious game with Davion for means of testing the new rule set. I tried to convert that into a full character, but I am finding that it detracts greatly from my time, as I am having to "force" it. Additionally, I am finding I like 4e less and less, and have a returning favor towards 3.5 (and pathfinder).

So regretfully, I must withdraw. Thanks for the run guys.

Its been fun.

Now I don't want to be insensitive or anything, but I've met a decent player named Olorian a little while ago who really wanted to get into this game. I believe you know him, Hvg3, and I know that he's recently created a dwarven ranger concept that would be useful (though no other class can fill the shoes of a fighter as far as standing toe to toe goes). We could go one of two routes: a) replace Harbek, or b) play as a six person team. We do have a warden, swordmage, and paladin to try and hold the frontline. I think the decision should be Hvg3's, but if I were asked my opinion, I would throw a vote in for Olorian. He was a solid rp'er and a frequent poster in a failed game that we were in for a brief period (the DM was wishy-washy so we ditched the game).

1) This does seem the more appropriate place for this discussion.

2) It should, of course, be up to hvg3 on what he wants to do.

3) I would have no problem with adding in a new player, especially one spoken for as a good and frequent poster.

4) Without RuneColnor we still have seven players, as it was going to be eight.

Sorry for the delay, guys. I stopped checking the Heroes of Fallcrest game while playing TheKeck's mini-game. My mistake.

I should be caught up now except for my magic item wishlist. I'll have to review the books for that.

wow, RuneColnor, sad to see you go! Have to say, having a player withdraw before the game has even started is a rare thing, but I understand. go well, and have fun

As to a replacement - I have had two players ask to join this game already, each with friends within, shall I buzz the first one now?

If the campaign is balanced for eight then it certainly makes sense to bring another board. I am cool with whatever you think is most fair/best.
