Character Discussions

Please use this thread to discuss character backstories, motives and anything you want to try (I'm open to homebrew content if I get a chance to read through it and decide whether or not I will allow it).

This will be a good place to work out out characters personalities. I'm playing the fighter brother. Now we need to work out basic personalities and how we play off each other emotionaly in dif situations.

Also sense we have to be the same race do we want to be Human or half-elf? Both have advantages. I tend to like human for the extra skill points but i'm not picky.

As I'm a NOT a good Number Cruncher and quite frankly don't like to play based on numbers, I tend to pick purely based Roleplaying. so Here's My Idea for Characters:

Race: Half-Elf, H-E's allow us to alienate the characters from the rest of society while still grounding them in Human Culture, They feel out of place and therefore more thirsty to prove themselves and adventure.

Society: I can't really decide between a Irish Celtic Society or a Spanish Celtic Society. I'm the type who over researches and like to get everything down right, The name, The Clothes, The Weapons, ETC. I think Spanish Celtic would be really fun and interesting (Look to the movie's Pan's Labyrinth and Gladiator for good examples of Celtic Cultures in Iberia), I don't have much knowledge on the culture, and I understand Irish Celtic Culture much better, therefore it's a safer and less time consuming choice, so I'll leave this decision up to you Carpe.

Relationship: I'm thinking of going for a relationship between the twins somewhat similar to Edward and Alphonse from Full Metal Alchemist only more twin like instead of Big Bro / Little Bro. My Female Rogue in a way fufills Edwards role as the leader, who is small but powerful, and the more hotheaded and aggresive of the two. The Brother fufills Alphonse's role somewhat, as he is Tank, he can be soft spoken and kind, in contrast to his large tank combat style.

More to come later, I'm feeling sick, and am going to go take a nap.

Carpe, your character can't be Lawful Neutral, well he can, but it would cause serious problems between him and his ROGUE sister.

I'm assuming we are starting with very little equipment, my character can't afford Armor, Weapon, and Equipment, unless the Armor and Weapon are free.

Rogues can be any alignment, plus lawful neutral tends towards living to their own standards rather than living by the law of the land.

As for equipment, its up to you what you spend your money on, thats all you get to start with

He said we started with 60 gold in the original aplication post. i spent mine on a weapon, with -1 damage due to rust, armor a backpack and some rope. the rest he has on em.

As for hight, weight, etc... gona wait till Bardic Fire dose theres. then copy aka twins

But for the 60g you could pick up leather armor, weapons, basic equipment. Just add the -1 dmg for any metal weapon you get as per gm rules.

mm, I did mine based on the idea that yours was tall, as our characters are not identical twins and therefore could be very different. heck it could be part of the RP, people won't realise that they're twins besides the fact that they look similar-ish, otherwise they are very different, but still have the deep twin connection.
