Yes. It's one of the nastiest feat combos out there...(If you have an easy way of getting around the spell level costs...Which, with Divine Metamagic, any Cleric can do, lol.)

Yes divine metamagic is solid. (pre errata it was worth a dip in a divine class)

Haelmaxan - When comparing Draconmicon and Spell Compendium, they have the same spells at different levels. For the most part, SpC is +1 level to the 3 or 4 spells I'm interested in. Would you prefer me use the SpC version as that book is slightly newer, or can I use the Draconomicon version?

What kind of a bonus to the Stomes provide?

Would the +4 Stat bonus be an Enhancement?

Would the +4 Save bonus be a Resistance?

And how much would they run?

Ok so I went a little metamagic crazy. I haven't played a character with a level this high before but it seems like my build will be around improving spells either as they are being cast via cooperative metamagic and metamagic effect. I can use these abilities 16 times a day each so I think I'll be laying down some aoes (fogs, gas, walls, shields etc) and then metamagic them into zombie making, enervating, maximized killing machines.

Granted it will take several rounds to get all that stuff up and running..... I see one of my allies has an entangling class feature which should slow foes down.

Yes, enhancement bonus and yes, a resistance bonus.

As far as price goes, you can pick one up for about 200,000gp or so.

The prologue game thead is up so feel free to rp where you guys want to adventure. Since you are all level 20, there are few limitations on where you can go and what you can do.

I think Byrac wants to investigate Barrin's killer first, but he is ultimately open to whatever the group wants to do more. As I said, even the planes are open for exploration.

As a wizardly character I am forever devoted to the pursuit of knowledge and power.
This might mean trying to create my own demiplane or become a lesser god to some extent. I know my friends have a much more limited lifespan than I so I am kind enough to help follow their pursuits.
