OK I lost this first post and need to keep track of the XP I give out, so I created this thread to keep track.

First encounter:

900 for killing the boogies
500 for role play

I also want to really encourage role play in this game, so I'm going to borrow something from one of my other DM's lofac.

Each time a chapter ends from here on out, everyone will come here and vote in secret for who they think did the best role playing for that chapter. Once everyone has voted I will tally the votes up.

The most votes gets 150 XP
Second gets 50 XP

This way you guys have a sort of peer review for your role playing.
If you don't like that idea, also tell me in secret and I'll put the kibosh on it.

So according to my calculations, those of you who didn't spend any XP on item creation now have 36100 and may level up. However, it came to my attention that some of you might have misunderstood on the item creation thing. It is NOT just for magic users. I'll explain it in The Talon.
