So you're aware that Martin can't see the Assassins thread, ok.
Also, I can't see the Home Rules thread... as such I will delay in making up the character. |

I see three threads, and am also holding out
Note: I hate to do this to a new game, and theres a pretty good chance it won't happen, but I may lose internet as a result to IRL. If I don't post in anything after it starts up I hope to be back on soon, so go on without me and I'll try to hop in when I can. I doubt I'll lose internet, just a headsup. |

There we are, house rules are mostly available, for the moment I cannot recall all of my quirky rules, but when I remember them I will post them.

I have a homebrew race for the world of Endoria!
Its called a Gnome. Its something I borrowed from DnD 3.5. They're fleshgolems... who look like and act like gnomes... Just so all you vampires out there know... Fleshgolems don't actually have any blood... |

Here is the SRD for Skeletons. For ability scores it says that skeletons have no constitution or intelligence, along with a charisma of 1, a wisdom of 10, and a dexterity of +2. Also a natural armor of +2 at medium size. Hit dice are d12
So, do I get to roll for my charisma/wisdom, and do I get intelligence (as a sentient skeleton I'd assume so) or constitution? For hit dice should I add levels based on class or just d12 because he's a skele? |

Hellzcalling: Flesh-Golems, Warforged, and various other constructs do have a vital fluid that sustains vampires, that tastes like field-mud. Even Zombies and Ghouls and some Liches have fluid that will sustain a Vampire, but is by no means a good way to live. [Some Skeleton's Marrow can even sustain the hunger of the Blood-fiends.]
__________________Scunch: Roll for Wisdom, Charisma, and Intellegence as normal. HD is from classes. No constitution, skeletons have no metabolism and cannot get sick. [Except for the Yellow Rage.] +1 LA. |

sorry about taking so long but I haven't really had much of a chance to look over the rules for vampires until just now, I should have my character done by late tonight after work or sometime tomarrow afternoon before work.

Is there currency in this world? Almost completely finished with the character sheet (I had it done once but I accidentally changed pages and lost it ALL. Had to start over, ugh)

My character is complete. but I'm still juggling concepts... what would the last gnome alive be obsessed with...not illusions... So i'm likely going to need to change it up again... Also my AC is non-existence... and I'm not sure whether or not to spend all my gold making it from atrocious to merely bad... or to spend it on other things...

Standard Currency still holds, Though the economy has changed. A pint of blood is terribly expensive, as well as any other organic materials that have been preserved over the years. Rare minerals are still considered precious, and the Lords of the Blood Bank, Top Legionnaires, Warforged Leaders, NewForged Counsels, Eleti Leaders, and Scavengers all support the gold-standard, mostly because it's convenient.

What about the yellow-rage... what do they use? Are they mindless? Is it possible to use a hazmat suit to avoid succumbing the disease? What about magical means.... such as remove disease, prevent disease...
I only ask because I had once thrown around the notion of exploring this yellow rage disease... much like in I am Legend... perhaps they are the next step in evolution! Mindless! (though it does seem like a step back...) |

Ok my character is mostly done and I will be posting it in a few minutes, took me awhile longer to figure out what mysteries to choose since a couple were from conjuration. Don't worry Hellz, my AC is nearly none existant as well but I do have a particular myster to give us concealment so that should help (at least for a few rounds). Just so everyone knows ahead of time and so that I don't get this question in messages, my Cha was a 16 then add the +2 for being a vampire and then +1 for 4th level and then +3 for the ages.
__________________Also I have a question, looking over the Vampires in the rules it mentiones nothing of darkvision or low light vision, so since it isn't mentioned does that mean they don't have it or was that an oversight on the makers part? Last edited by SniperWolf; 07-26-2009 at 03:50 PM. |
