SNOT:WWAD Teaching Assistants Needed!

Howdy, folks. For those that are unaware of it's existence or purpose, the School of Non-Oratory Theater: What Would AxeMan Do? (SNOT:WWAD) is a 'school' that exists as a part of DnDOnlineGames which has the goal of helping our site members improve their posting and creative writing skills. Student enrollment is up, and we are in need of new Faculty members. One of the best ways we can improve ourselves as a site is to pass on the knowledge that we have gained as a whole, and SNOT:WWAD is a wonderful and effective way of doing that. The hours can be long, the pay is minimal - but the intangible rewards can be boundless.

There are two Schools of Axe in operation at the moment, one school that is about to be opened, and we are in need of Teaching Assistants at all three. The basic application requirements are the understanding that it is ideal for a TA to post in at least one of his/her classrooms per day, as well as a consistent demonstration of exceptional creative writing, posting, and mechanical skills. We will stalk research the posting history of interested applicants for all other necessary criteria.

Maxester's Degree Program: TA must have at least 1000 posts, and meet all other criteria.
Bachelor Of Axe Program: TA must have at least 750 posts, and meet all other criteria.
Axesociate's Degree Program: TA must have at least 500 posts, and meet all other criteria.

TA's may choose to work with students in any degree programs for which they are qualified. For example, a TA qualified to work with students in the Maxester's Degree Program may choose to work with students attempting to earn their Bachelor Of Axe degree.

As stated above, this is difficult and mostly thankless effort. However, if you have the 'teaching bug' and enjoy helping out others, it can be very rewarding. Please post your application here, feel free to let your creativity run wild!

i would be happy to help others learn to improve their play.

If you need a reference, check with Ronar's Corruption... he dm's me in a game, and knows my style, frequency, etc..

I didn't know this existed! I'd love to help out, but my post count is, I think, not up to snuff. I would sign up to be a student instead, but that also seems to not currently be an option. (I totally will at some point! Growth is good!)

If, 'I'll have five hundred any day now' is worth keeping me sitting in this volunteer thread... Well I'm willing to help.

Based on past history IDK if I will get in, but I have been here for a while now, and I fit the requirements

Hey, I'm all for helping out too! Though I suppose that it would be best to start small, say with the Axesociate Degree, and perhaps move up from there.

So, here's my "Interested and want to help" application.

Also, when'll you be choosing the TAs? Just so I know when to expect a dee-day.

'Allo, I'm quite interested in helping out. I never took the course myself, but I would enjoy helping as best as I could. If you think I would be good when you stalk research my past posts, I would be delighted to help out.

It's more like "When'll you stop choosing TAs?" It's kind of an ongoing process. When we have enough suckers TA's, we'll stop. We're not sure how many students will jump in after the floodgate is opened.

Hell, I'm working on getting ready for the Praxis and currently studying what I have to do to get my license to teach, since I can't figure out what to do with a degree in english and psychology. So, if you can use me do so, if not then at least I put an offer on the table.

Perhaps I could become a student and finish that first.

I'm in the same situation where my post count is just an eency bit below 500, but I am glad to help in any way I can. Have been around the block for a while now and still feel that even while DMing, it isn't enough to help folks learn how to play better.

If you can still us me...though the count is just below, I will gladdly sit here in line too.

Hmmm... ok then. Guess I should rephrase my question: When'll we be notified if you want us as TAs? even a general timeframe is great, like by the middle of August, or something like that.

Just wanted to say that I think it's great you guys are doing this, and expanding on it at that . . . and though at this rate it might be a few more months before I can help out, if you guys are still looking for TAs at that point, I'd love to help.
