Bella casts Protection from Law upon herself as Amoura moves past the two women on the stairs and engages a guard. She wildly swings her bastard sword at a guard, but misses badly.

Arowen turns to fire on the advancing guard not engaged with Amoura. Her arrows fly high over the guard's head and hit the far wall.

Nebel steps forward to intercept the guard approaching him, sweeping the guard's leg in an attempt to trip him. The guard is more steady on his feet than Nebel expects, and remains standing.

The guard responds to the attack with a quick slash to Nebel's chest. 9 points of damage.

The guard attacking Amoura misses.

The guard Arowen shot at closes to melee, but fails to connect with his sword.

Astiro casts Mage Armor and assumes a defensive position behind Nebel.


Next round....

Bella takes a five foot step to engage the guard attacking Arowen, and swings with her mace.

With the guard immediately next to her, Amoura's twin blades flash and whirl as they seem to take on a life of their own.

Astiro casts a spell (Bull Strength) @ Nebel.
Astiro improves is defensive posture via movement or cover if possible.

Nebel gets cut as the guard attacks him, and he grows visibly angry. Astiro, super-size me!

He launches at the guard with a flurry of attacks, hoping to keep him off-guard until the mage has done his spell, using his newly enhanced strength to try and kick some ass.

OOC Seems my vacation post took and my game post didn't. Let's try this again.

Bella steps forward, swing at the guard attacking Maeven, but misses.

Amoura's blades flash in a brilliant display, leaving the guard badly bloodied and appearing near death.

Maeven puts an arrow into the guard's chest. He grimaces in pain, but presses forward.

Nebel delivers a flurry of blows, but only connects with one. The guard doesn't seem fazed by the attack.

All three guards manage to hit. Nebel takes 3 points, Amoura takes 10 points, and Maeven takes 5 points.

Astiro casts Bull's Strength onto Nebel powering him up for the next few rounds.

As the guard's weapon is about to strike her, the air shimmers around Maeven and the weapon does not strike her. As this is happeneing, her bow flows into a greatsword that she swings at the guard that struck her.

Amoura winces as the guard's blade manages to get past her defenses but continues her assualt with her blades.

Nebel gets hit again, growing angrier as he gets more wounded by the soldier. You really do want to fight that badly, do you? he asks, and launches himself at the man with another round of attacks, Attacking an unarmed man like that! Eat fists of fury!

 

Declaring the guard as my dodge target, +1 to AC (total AC vs. guard is now 20)
