Lotus: Somewhere on I-80
She sat in silence next to you, not saying a word save the occasional direction to the man who was driving. Looking at her closely you noticed she had long curly brunet hair, with a dark complexion, perhaps she was hispanic though her accent definitely didn't hint that way. |

Charley sighed, loudly. They hadn't told her a damn thing since she had gotten in the car, but she wasn't particularly scared as she figured wherever they were going couldn't be much worse than where she had been. She looked out the tinted window, highway.. highway.. fields.. cows.. and repeat. She tried pressed the roll down button for the window but it was locked. "Could'ya unlock my window? Or am I a prisoner in here?" she asked.

With a grunt the man does so, and soon enough your able to unroll your window. |

Charley quickly pushed the down button and went to stick her head out the window and feel the wind, but was stopped short. Friggin child safety windows. She rolled her eyes, then put her feet on the seat and turned to look at the lady sitting next to her. Beautiful woman, fancy clothes, not very friendly. She sighed loudly again, louder than was necessary, "Are we there yet? She whined.

The girl gave a laugh. She was young looking, older, but still had youth about her. Her leather outfit sat snug on her, she seemed comfortable as though time had little effect on her patients. Like should could sit there for an eternity and nothing would matter.
"I'm afraid our trip is just beginning little one. Lucky for you, Dad though it best if we were to bring you there ourselves. Apparently you have made yourself a few enemies." |

Charley looked sharply at the woman, Surely they couldn't know about the dead guy already.. She shut up pretty quick, fear starting to rise inside of her. Who the hell were these people? She scooted as far away on the seat from the woman as she could. "Where the hell are you taking me?! she said, her voice getting louder with anxiety.

The women seemed to notice the girl scooting away from her, though she didn't say anything about it, a smile crept to her lips.
"Do I make you uneasy? I seem to have that affect on people... And we are taking you to a place for brats like you." The car takes a sudden swerve, sending you into the door and the lady somewhat into the middle of the seat. Before either of you can raise a complaint, the man in the front seat speaks. "Company Sis" Looking out the window you can only see a number of cars driving along beside you along the highway. Then suddenly the car that was driving besides your car, drifts quickly into your lane threatening to smash into your side if the brakes hadn't been slammed sending you reeling into the head rest of the front passenger seat. The car that had attempted to hit you was now in front of you... |

Charley was about to say something scathingly mean back to the lady, but was interrupted when her face hit the window.
__________________At the man's words she spun around and her eyes widen. "Who are you people!!" she shouted. Her mind was spinning, I'm in the middle of a friggin mafia war! "GET ME OUT OF HERE!" she screamed at the top of her lungs. She could feel her panic starting to rise. Fear was climbing up her throat very quickly. She could feel her hair start to rise and her hands start to twitch. |

"Can't you loose them?" the ladies voice says in an equally calm manner as the man had replied.
She seems to give Charley a once over before noticing the hair standing on edge. "So you do have a bit of dad in you. Calm down, we don't need you turning the car off now." Looking out the window at the other car she clicks her teeth a bit before shaking her head. "We never get any respect do we brother. All because of that Olympian Council were just ignored like we're no better than the likes of her." she says the her with some venom, though your not sure if she was aware of the way she said it as she does not refer to you after speaking as such. "Father won't appreciate it if we make a scene getting his new favorite back to camp. Just get around them, you know the mortals won't see much." at that the car accelerates at a pace that forces you back into your seat with a thud, as cars begin to fly by you at an increasing rate, swerving slightly you hear the wake up warning strip sounding though the driver pays it no mind. A rhythmic rumble moving up through the car sending shivers down your spine. Surely any moment now a cop would spot the car and you'd be pulled over and saved from these two lunatics. |

Charley was losing it. She felt like flinging open the car door and launching herself out, but at the speed they were going she could barely peel herself off the seat, and even if she did manage to get the door open, jumping would equal instant pancake girl. Her hair was still full of static as there was very little about the situation that was assuring and Charley's head was spinning in confusion and fear. "Will somebody PLEASE tell me what is going on?!"

The world suddenly goes quite, as if it had just stopped spinning, as if the sun had stopped shinning. Everything outside the car has no existence. It was just you, the seat, and the girl... Not even the front of the car seemed to matter. She leveled with you, sitting with you she turns her torso so that she is facing you. She smiles, it was a pleasant smile from a less than attractive face.
"Have you ever wondered why you have your body becomes charged when you become upset? Have you ever seen things you couldn't explain, things others couldn't see. When you read, do you sometimes mix the letters up? There is a reason for it all. I am your Sister Charley, and he is your brother. There are many like us, many more than the mortals know about. You are our sister, though you are not entirely like us. Your mother was mortal, father is like that." |

Charley's jaw dropped. "Back up there for second, Brother? Sister? Mortals? Excuse me? What planet are you from?" Charley backed up as far as she could, squeezing herself against the car door.
