Zool ceases swinging his hook as the words come spilling from the woman's mouth. his hook raises on his halted upswing and falls flat on the moist dirt. his words come out monotone and soft but loud enough for those close to him can hear.

Zool stands next to Thorden and squats a little so that he is level with the dwarf. he rubs his index finger across his nose to block the view of his mouth as he whispers. "Thorden, give me the word and I can shimmy up to the second floor and drop a line. bit of a loony isn't she" Last edited by Evil Pie; 01-23-2010 at 12:53 AM. |

My dear lady, I myself am a priest and I could very easily see that your father's remains are laid to rest. Now if you could just open up the door, it seems a little cruel to make us into more corpses just to run an errand. The old man laughs at the end of the second sentance. But in all reality is quite serious.

The woman in the window lowers the crossbow and respoinds. "A priest? There are no priests nearby except for Father Danovich. Where are you from? I wasn't aware that anyone had left the village to seek aid. No matter, I shall unbar the door and we will discuss this in safety." She disapears, then the door opens with a bursting of wood and nails. As it swings open you see that the woman is in her early twenties, sporting shoulder length flame red hair and a forest green dress. She holds a crowbar in one hand and quickly motions you inside, then sets about resecuring the door.

"Father Donovitch eh?" Zool pulls out the journal and continuing the logs from where the fallen woman had stopped.

Thorden takes a quick look around, sizing up the place as a refuge for the villagers. "We're here to sssee how defended and well provisioned you are. There'sss a lot of villagers leffft behind that need a safe place to ssstay while we drive out the undead. With your leave we'll go to them now and bring them here."

"There is only me here. My brother was away on business before the undead rose. Although I did here you say he's in the town did I not? Oddly they haven't come around the mansion except for once. I managed to fight them off, at the cost of a spare bed table and some linens."

"If you help me to transport my father's body to the Chapel for burial, I am willing to pay with these healing potions. And don't worry about him turning into one of those...things, he has lain here for some five days, before the dead began walking." Last edited by lampofdoom; 01-26-2010 at 10:56 PM. |

Zool walks back in finding nothing fun or interesting. he calls to the others while walking down the hall to them not even a copper fleck around. looks like I'll have to look for some candelabras next time.

I don't want to do it on my own and I am pretty sure I'll die if if I do. I'm heading out to do my work tomorrow though." he looks into the ballroom and smiles. "Ah, a reward for bringing news of her brother how thoughtful." |

I'm afraid the reward is still potential, it is a payment we would recieve if we were to help her transport her father's body to the Chapel. It would seem that it would be wise of us to visit that location in any case; seeing as how the journal you found mentioned something about information there-in about a certain sword that was crutial to resolving our current situation.

"So I guess my idea of heading to the church to begin with wasn't such a bad idea.
__________________As for the job, I'm all for it but. It's not going to be done till that area is secured." Zool looks to the old man lifeless body then back to her daughter. "alright, I'll need a little information. roughly, how many bodies are in the cemetery, what was the rough population, and can we just buy the potions for the going price? I'm sure we will need them during the proses of getting to the church rather than after. If you don't know anything about the first questions that's fine. " |

She ponders for a minute or two then answers. "I'm not sure how many bodies, the chapel has been there longer than the village has. The woods have overgrown most of it but the part thats still visible holds maybe three dozen graves. The town had around 600 people. You can take the potions now, just come back when you're done." With her closing comment she tosses the vials to you.

Zool catches the vials and hands one to Thorden. "Alright, so are we heading back now or waiting for morning? I for one don't mind heading back."

Well there is something I would like to "attend to" but I'm afraid Ismark would disprove... He smiles to himself but does not look at the woman.

The old man frowns, Grab her father. He heads back to the inn the same way they came then casts Hide from undead on all those accompanying him to the church. He explains that if anyone touches an undead or casts a spell, the spell will fail. He then walks the single block to the church.
