Izith nods and bends down to find a stone to throw at the retreating wizard.

OOCPlease note that PT edited because of something I said, not as an attempt to change rolls.

Anyway, I'm not certain if these rolls are needed here but what the heck?

Inandi shoots at the wizard, but the bolt brakes before it could do any damage. Vorik and Pyslassa head for the mule, which peacefully follow whoever grabs him. Mistaken and Izith throw some rocks, but the wizard seems to be way too far away to be hit, so he just keeps moving away.

OODMOne round until the fighter drowns. If you pull him out of the water, he can survive for a few more rounds.

"Gaaaaaah", Izith growls in frustration, "this can not be good."

He turns to the fallen fighter and goes to haul him upright. "Could use that mule over here," he calls to Vorik and Pyslassa.

"Lets get you out of this muck and water." Pyslassa says to the mule and he gently coaxes the mule toward the reeds and the path they were on before. "I bet you have something useful for us, don't you." He continues to the mule. Turning to Izith, "We're making our way over there, lets get out of this muck. We should see if there's anything useful here, and then head out again. We don't want that caster bringing friends."

Vorik, growling to himself, keeps pace with the mule, but when seeing Izith struggle with the man, will lope over and help to pull him up.

Not finding any other enemies around, the lizardfolk hisses one last time at the fleeing wizard. He turns back and gives Izith a hand with the fighter.
"What we doing with human? Just taking weapons and things? Or we bringing body with us? Maybe better to leave him, slow down other human if he comes back maybe?" He looks around at his allies. "Anyone hurt bad? I can help with bad hurts." His common still isn't perfect, but the perceptive would notice it is definitely improving.

While the party leave the battle scene, the wizard disappears out of sight. They can hear him running for a little while.

As soon as Izith raises the human's head, he gasps and spits water, but doesn't wake up. Izith realizes that he can't move the him alone, but with the help of Vorik, they can pull him out easily. Concerning about the man only, they forget his sword and bow behind. However, he is so heavily wounded that he will probably die soon if not tended to.

Meanwhile, Pyslassa and the mule come out of the water too. He searches the pack, he finds a piece of rope (about 50 ft. in length), 6 packs of trail rations, 3 packs of horse feed, some arrows and bolts (20-20 each), 2 scrolls, 2 potions and 80 gold pieces. One potion has a greenish colour and is slightly bubbly, while the other one is plain yellow.

OODMI didn't use your STR checks for dragging. I used the rule that you can drag 5x your maximum load, but because you are in the muddy water, you can only drag 2.5x. So Izith couldn't drag him, but Vorik can easily with his 16 STR.

To identify the potions, try a small sip of them, and I will give you a more or less obscure description. You can of course use Detect Magic to get the school or Identify to unambiguously identify them. For the scrolls, use Read Magic of course.

The fighter is at -7 HP and falling.

Vorik, takes a deep breath after lifting the human and they calls out, "Lizard, come over here and keep the human from dying yet, maybe we can get some information out of him." Remembering the man's big sword and bow, both some of Vorik's favorite weapons, he will go back into the water and retrieve both.

"Patience, Vorik," Izith says as he lets his companion take the weight of the human, "we need him stable, but not yet awake. We can wake him when we reach our destination."

Ripping bandages from the human's own clothes Izith bindes his wounds.

Pyslassa brings the mule back just out of the reeds onto the solid ground. He starts going through the things in the pack, giving the mule a nice pat or pet every once in awhile. He takes out a section of rope and drops it on the ground, then pulls out a quiver of arrows and a couple quarrels of bolts and puts them on the ground too. He rummages through what's left in the pack, standing on his toes and stretching to his full height to see the bottom. He pulls out a pair of murky potions, two scrolls and a small sack of coins.

Placing everything on the ground, Pyslassa says,
"Bring that human's equipment over here, I will see if it has any enchantments on it." With that he says "levex" as he rubs his hands together, then holds them outward as he scans the area on the ground where he pulled out the items from the mule's pack. He concentrates on each of the potions for a few seconds, trying to figure out the aura type. After scanning the potions, he scans any other equipment brought over to him.

After looking over any items, and most of the group has gathered around, he says,
"They didn't have too much, some rope, arrows, and crossbow bolts. There's some trail rations and feed for the mule in the pack still. Here's a small sack of coins, there's two potions here, and a pair of scrolls. I can't read the scrolls though, can any of you guys??"

Using detect magic on the potions. Concentrating on each for 3 rounds and using a spellcraft check to try to determine spell school. First roll is for yellow, second is for green.

Izith sighs in exasperation that his attempts at first aide did not go smoothly, "Drat this human flesh," he mutters and lays his hands on the human, "Cure Minor Wounds. That should keep him with us."

He looks at the confused Lizardfolk and explains, "He may be able to tell us important things. He may not, or may refuse, but we must try. Excuse me, though."

Turning to Inandi, Izith hestiantly lays his hand on her shoulder and says, "Cure Light Wounds."

The little lizard face looks suspicious and possibly a little nervous, but he doesn't say anything more. Seeing the kobold preparing for some kind of magic he takes the opportunity to go swimming again, looking around for and picking up any dropped equipment in the water. Seeing the wounded familiar but not sure just how hurt Drot is, he again lets off that telltale flash of red light.

Pyslassa can determine that the yellow potion has some conjuration magic, but he fails to analyse the green one. He doesn't find any other magic items in the pack. When Vorik picks the sword and the bow from the water, he can see that both are very finely crafted. However, Pyslassa doesn't find any other magic items. After scanning all items, he realizes that he has still time from his spell, so he tries again with the green potion. Finally he manages to see that it contains enchantment magic.

The lizardfolk ventures back into the water, but finds nothing where the fighting took place.

Vorik grins with glee at his find, scooping up the sword and bow he straps both to his body. Then stomping over to look at the human, he takes the opportunity to spit on the scum. Turning to Izith with an excited smirk, "Can you make him hurry up and wake up, or should I give it a try, I do need to relieve myself, and we have this nice human sitting right here....?" Vorik begins to laugh, the weird spooky hyena-like laugh of his race, looking hopefully at Izith.

OOC: What type of sword and bow are they, and how many arrows am I able to retrieve?
