Okay where are the others? We do need the rest to join us, and also, I'd like to mention the fact that those who have posted their characters, added ability scores and gotten their gears ready, should go to the IC thread. And remember to rol lfor gold, and to add your starter items, here's a remindero f what you get at the beginning of the rp.


HP: Max for every level + Con bonus.

Starting Gold: Roll 2d10 x 1000 = your starting gold.

Starting Resources: 6 rations, 1 weapon, 3 waterskins, 1 backpack, 1 armor (cloth, light, medium or heavy), 1 bedroll, 1 map and 1 tent.

Special Class Items: If your class need a special item to use either spells, feats or skills, like a wizard who needs a spell book, a ranger who needs a ranged weapon, a sorcerer who needs a wand, then you are allowed one of these items, fi yo uare a jack of all trades then you have to settle for one item. Bard would be suggested to choose an instrument.

Oh and for the heck of it will we have a contest now that the rp has begun. It will be a contest i nwhich you create a deity and if it is accepted as one of the major gods of the Red Caps goblin rp world's lore, then you get a price! Joreal's Cutthroat god is alread ya winner in my books.

O.o don't we only need like, one or two waterskins? I mean they are refillable and weigh a good bit. Bah, anyways. At least my question about the gold is answered. Gotta reselect my gear, and what about the level 3's? Are they stuck with only what they can afford on 200g max? Ignoring the stuff they get outright mind you, wouldn't that leave them a bit underequipped? And tent's are heavy as hell. I mean, My guy won't have a problem with weight for a good bit, but the other characters? yeah, I don't think they could do that for very far....>.>

Why are we only getting a maximum of 200 gold? We are level 3. Look on page 135 of the DMs handbook. 10 Waterskins is an absurd amount of waterskins. That would be 40 pounds for a medium sized character. I'm starting to have second thoughts here Silverscale. If I had known there would be all these stipulations I may not have applied

I Assume that I should just stick with what I have, seeing as I'm level 1 and just used max PHB starter gold for a fighter to outfit myself, sword excluded. Would that be Fine Scale, since I have my gear slected and all that allready?

Yeah, the reason for the big amount of gold is because there's a lot of expensive merchants ahead i nthe journey, and there might be a need for gold other then for buying stuff, like bribes and the likes.

well duh haha. I'm playing Tiberius as just starting off, so unless you object, I'll stick with the equipment and money listed on my sheet. leave bribing and what not up to others with real social skills, and I'll stick to killing things, and taking loot. Yes I'll be RPing, but that's more than likely gonna be Tiberius's role in this.
