Grabbag growled fiercly at the undead that had caught him off guard and had ripped the freshly mended wounds open, and doing what came first to him, he brought his heavy mordenkrad above his head, and he used the pull of the earth to lend his blow extra strength, crushing the skeleton's side, going on through its thighbone. The skeleton fell to the earth lacking one leg to support it even as badgers shaped out of lightning burst forth from the goblinoid's well-muscled form to shock the undead even further from its eternal rest.

Rahmun Buddy
__________________Rahmun stepped forward even as the big brute ran back, spilling its precious lifeblood on the floor. He had many tales of such dry bones wandering through the desert, all of them bad. Now, to ensure that his tale would not turn out like those tales! That meant, finishing the job properly. He stepped up to the skeleton Grabbag had all but pulverized, and he noticed a crossbow bolt sticking out of its jawbone - 'Must be halcyon's doing' he thought - while separating the last of its bones from each other, taking his scimitar back out with a wide swoop as if to ward off any other skeletons that might be near. He looked around carefully to see where the other undead would be, but he noticed the one he had just cut was still somehow moving! Then, he noticed that the roofs were rather low. "Get back, Aruma! Back into the corridor!" He did not want to get surrounded - that had caused the demise of many a desert dweller in his tales. |

Aruma waved her sword in defensive circles before lashing out at the skeleton. Unfortunately for Aruma, the skeleton had seen that exact attack many times throughout its unlife and knew just how to block it.
Marcan put his warlock magic on the skeleton stuck in the tiny tomb, and then teleported onto the northern most tombs. With the magic of his sun rod washing over the top half of the room in light, Marcan reveled three undead. Two of them were the skeletons that assaulted Aruma, and one, was one not yet seen. A decrepit wizard leers at you, blackened teeth twisted between leathery lips. Its skin is stretched taut and peeled away from the bone, eyes glowing with an unholy power. Before Marcan could even react, a blot of negative energy shot from the wizard at Marcan, driving square into his chest. Marcan’s attack was still able to fly out at the wizard, hitting him square, but that was a little consolation to the horror that started to form in Marcan’s mind. Grabbag’s threaten looks rang true as his hammer easily landed home, shattering most of the skeleton’s one hip. Even as his magic washed over the beast, he continued to struggle to stand. Halcyon unloaded his crossbow at the prone skeleton, but the bolt skipped off the wall into the darkness. Regardless, Halcyon still skittered after Aruma, lighting hallways as he went. Dedrik ran forward after Halcyon, and as he stopped just behind Halcyon, he caught a slight glimpse of the skeleton Aruma was battling. Launching an attack at the enemy with superior cover, his aim was flawless and the bird of flames slammed into the skeleton the swooped around its head.(16 total damage) Rahmun, deciding to help Grabbag, moved forward and smacked the skeleton, almost causing it to finally falter, but not quite. ________ The three zombies all converge on Marcan, each jumping from building to building. Two of the zombies were able to easily clear the narrow gap, but the last zombie grossly underestimated his ability, and only half his body made the jump. Face planting into the roof, the zombie the fell backwards to the floor below. Uncaring of the result to their friend, the remaining two zombies converged on Marcan. One of the zombies landed a glancing blow, but the other completely missed the unmoving target Meanwhile the skeleton pursued Aruma, and again was able to catch the same injured shoulder, continuing the flow of blood. The other skeleton struggled to his feet, the useless leg still somehow supporting the body. The skeleton did not feel pain, so his attack was still flawless(Critical) as it sliced at Rahmun. Lastly, the Wizard began to moan, causing the room’s temperature to plummet. A lesser foe would have fled, but all four of the effected heroes held their ground. |

Travis Buddy. It's been about 2 weeks since his last post here and we've seen hide nor hair of him. He hasn't been on the forum for about a week either.
__________________Hearing the pained howls and gasps of his wounded companion, Travis felt called. Calling upon the divine power invested in him by Oghma, he knows Grabbag is going to get better. After stepping forward, the priest sends a fistful of sacred flames at the battered skeleton, overwhelming its foul essence with the holy might of Oghma! Travis hoped to help Rahmun a bit too, for he could see his old friend was in quite the dire position! |

Grabbag took his time turning around, mindful of the wounds in his side, but the follower of Oghma managed to patch him up so good that he could go back into the fray. That he did, but slightly too eager. He tried to jump onto the roof, but only just managed to grab the edge. Working himself against the wall on the other side of the corridor, he managed to get up on the roof, and, seeing the source of the mournful wail, he charged, intending on silencing the arcanist forever.

Aruma hid behind her shield. The large crest protecting her in defiance to the skeleton's advances.
__________________The soft pink glow renewed in her shoulder as she took a moment to collect herself after the barrage. The bleeding slowed and she felt the tendons heal together like strings being tied neatly on end. Her fingers tightened with renewed strength as control was returned. When the muscles and tissues closed shut without a blemish she spun her sword once to test the weight with her newly reformed arm pieces. The light blade was still easily wieldable and she smiled in satisfaction. Only some fatigue from loss of blood and exertion remained and she could deal with that. Her guardian spirit couldn't save her all the time, in fact she might have to just hold her own from now on... |

Marcan is annoyed as the jumping zombie tries to attack him, but becomes even more agitated as the dead Wizard blasted him. At least he was waiting for us - I don't feel so bad about the broken door now! he chirps to himself, whilst drawing some of his shadow and releasing it at the zombie next to him. From the rooftop, he calls to his friends, "Anyone want a lift?" before focusing on the power of his new wand.
__________________Then, tears in reality ripped forth, allowing him to reappear on the rooftop to his south, threatening the zombie to fall off the other rooftop, and aiding <name to be inserted> a little more freedom. Reappearing on the other rooftop, Marcan then focused on the wizard, and sent another bolt of energy towards it, wanting to take down this fallen creature as soon as possible. |

"That's it girl, keep 'im occupied..." Halcyon mutters under his breath as he slinks forward toward the skeleton trying to add the paladin to the ranks of undead. His back grazes the ancient stone wall until he closes the gap, then he crouches to drop his crossbow and everburning torch. A moment later, his body is a blur of black leather as the acrobat hurtles toward his opponent. His blades appear in his hands as his left foot steps onto the poised skeleton's femur. Using the leverage, Halcyon stabs his dagger into the creature's empty eye socket before using the bony shoulder as a stepping stone to climb even higher on his startled opponent. Now high enough to throw an arm onto the slate covered roof, he uses the skeleton's skull as the final rung to propel himself all the way up the burial structure, while the force of the jump throws the skeleton back toward Dedrick waiting down the hall. Halcyon scrambles to his feet, eye to eye with the undead mage currently being picked apart by Marcan.

Dedrik takes stock of his surroundings. He hears the fight going on above him and sees the blasts of arcane light casting strange shadows on the walls all around him. The skeleton in front of him may falter soon and the mage above him may prove a may serious threat. He had some choices to make...
