for armour take the basic thing for whichever category is appropriate...example Padded for light, Hide for medium, splint for heavy, When it comes to gold just make that starting gold roll.

Besides, if I tried to kill one of you then I wouldnt have 5 meatshiel-loyal companions between me and the angry other side guys. XD

For equipment, we get the basic armour free in addition to our gold? Does this mean my figter gets splint mail as well as 130gp?

Now, if we can get up to Heavy Armor, but want to go with, say, a Medium Armor, could I get a Medium that's better than the basic, but still cheaper than the basic Heavy Armor?
