Yes, thank you - I definitely didn't mean that being pro-freedom meant you were disloyal, nor that being loyal meant you were anti-freedom. I'm not Dick Cheney (or Keith Olbermann, however your political orientation may lean) The distinction must not be very clear, because I had Harpy pegged for Libertas, for instance.

Maybe the distinction just doesn't work - what do you guys think?

Lets use the class skills for the base creatures. Warriors have Climb, Hide, Jump, Listen, Move Silently, and Tumble as class skills - PC Warriors will get all of the above minus Tumble, and may pick any one Str, Dex, or Con based skill. Engineers the same, except Int, Wis, or Cha based.

This probably helps Engineers more than Warriors, but then again, how many skill points do you Warriors really have to allocate?

Eight per level. Or possibly nine. Probably eight, though...

I'm not really too concerned with the groupings. I mean, it could work, either way, but there's not too much of a reason why the extremely dedicated would only work alongside others who are extremely dedicated, et cetera.

I think its a good idea to have groups... but the question comes down to how do you define the groups. Its blurry for me...but my eyesight isnt 20/20 anyways. I'll go Libertas though if we stick to the group thing. For me, the difference between the two groups is as simple as tilting my head one way, then the other.

8+Int, actually, by your own admission.

Could I substitute Sense Motive for the Knowledge skill? having Psychic Knowledge, I don't anticipate getting any mileage out of a knowledge skill, and Sense Motive would be ideal.
