And Olorian, I didn't know you were a doctor! My dad's a doctor (in fact, if I'd followed his advice this would have been over days ago, after the infection didn't go away he said he would have immediately done an X-Ray).

__________________ I'm back and will try to get an update in tomorrow. NY was great, it exceeded my expectations. We had a hotel in Midtown Manhattan, I studied a few hours every day in the public library (with beautiful ceiling, feeling like being in The Day After Tomorrow) and did some touristy stuff the rest of the time. And I graduated the trauma life support course, yay! Unfortunately Halcyon and I haven't been able to meet... hopefully next time, buddy! I hope you all had a good week too! I hope your patience with this game hasn't been tested for too long now  But what is one week compared to those four in August, right?

Definitely next time Olorian! I am disappointed to let the opportunity pass us by but I had a doozy of a weekend... more fun that I thought it was gonna be but I'm starting to feel like I'm halfway through a marathon and forgot to eat my wheaties!

And I was correct about Garus being dazed too, which prevents flanking!

Is the way I'm updating my powers used within my posts ok, or would you prefer the current encounter stats? It's just quick for me to keep a string of text already formatted in the notes section of my character sheet (which I'm going to have open regardless) that I can add powers to and paste it at the end of my posts. But if you'd prefer the other I can try to remember that.

Anywhere you keep it, where I can see it, is fine, Thame! I'm not going to check it everytime, but sometimes a thought comes up like "didn't he/she use that already?" and in that case I have a way to check it. It's mostly meant for yourselves, so you know which options you still have left in the encounter.

Hmmm... I couldn't help but notice we are having a rough go! I know our PC's haven't been adventuring very long together, but by this point its possible that discussions were had about strengths and weaknesses and maybe some prior planning for contingencies like this one. I know not to underestimate the abilities of our warriors and I'm sure the picture will look less bleak by the time our turn is over, but I'm having a hard time deciding in which direction to go. I just wanted to mention that Vytal has some good spells left that basically immobilize foes. Those spells doen't really do us a lot of good however when our PC's are standing next to the immobilized foes. I'm kind of hoping that we cordinate our attacks a little bit to focus on taking out one enemy at a time. It seems to me that the bloodied boneclaw should be brought down now if possible. But the next attractive target to gang up on could be the remaining flameskull. We can all rally to one side of the room next round while Vytal tries to immobilize the Naga and others. Just a thought.

I'm all for contingency planning as well. Adding another non-team PC changes the mix a fair bit. I think Nevara had it coming to her being so close to the melee. Time now to get her out and slow the advance. I'll try working some creative magic and open up a spot on the baddies. Hvg included, you baddie you!
__________________I'll drop her off between the tables. Ayala, I recommend you going after the second flameskull while taking a minor action to cut the rope strands at the Tiefling's feet. Alternately, Vytal could drop a knife into his hands and he could work on freeing himself. Thamewolf - if you can take out the B2 quick that'd be awesome, but I think it unlikely this round as you'll be unsupported. Bearing that in mind, I recommend a quick attack and pullback so Vytal can get his spell off (before or after).
