Last night my 55 gallon fish tank sprung a slow leak. I did not notice until I heard my filter making a wretched noise this morning as it sucked air and a bit of water from my now half empty tank.

I have spent most of the day cleaning up this fiasco. So I will have to apologize for my lack of posts. I will definitely post tomorrow and try to make it up to you folks in some way.

No luckily I had a separate tank they could live in while I dealt with the leaky one.

So all the fish have survived. I saw them all this morning, so that is good news. My new tank has inspired me to get a couple more finny friends soon.

Question for you all. Do you have any pets? If so, how many and what types? If not, why?

I have two dogs. A Jack Russel/Miniature Poodle mutt named Quincy and a Yellow Lab named Klamath. I also have a cat named Moxie. She is a black and white domestic medium hair.

I've had 3 cats throughout my life. I have no pets at the moment, and basically because my mom doesn't want to.

However, I plan on going to live to Switzerland in July, and one of my first goals is to convince my boyfriend to get us a cat or dog
