Seth Jameson has the original description of Merian. Then he left and you joined.

Hmmm... I wonder if I can track him down and see if he still has that stuff... Otherwise it'll be lotsa retyping.

I will wait for the guard in the room to leave before continuing our little scene between Dhoim and Eranna, I don't want to step on what Cendar might say for the guard.

Actually, this is the perfect time to illustrate a point I've wanted to make:
You are permitted to NPC minor characters so long as you keep them within the bounds of the storyline as revealed and do not take any major actions. This applies particularly when it is simple dialogue (not plot-sensitive) and would require me to post only a one or two-liner to respond. This rule is in place to allow longer posts. On the flipside, I have the right to NPC your characters to the same extent (i.e., assuming that Sierra followed the woman into the tunnels and that Azaia followed Durgon). So, Adorios, if you wanted to have the guard leave the room, that'd be fine. It may be a few posts before Siarund returns, so if you want to help out by clearing the guard out of the room rather than making me do it, I'd actually be grateful. @ Majblitz: I'm going to edit your post with the man's response. I'll then post his response to your responding statements in my next post. |

Awesome, I'm fine with doing that then. I just didn't want to make sure that having him leave wouldn't be a major plot point (him refusing to leave probably would have been).

This group is most definitely screwed if we don't start rolling better. The dice thread is depressing at the moment.

Yes it is... I probably wasn't even able to successfully lie about a predetermined last name Nikolai uses with strangers...:P
Also, thanks Cendar. I figured he's important enough that he has an actual name, otherwise I would have NPCed that little response. |

Granted my Bluff check was really far fetched, by all means I should have failed it, but man it would have been great to roll something besides a 2 (a 20 would have been hilarious).

Just finished reading Cendar's latest post. I feel like it's my chivalric duty to be in the inn to help out the two people there, but other than divine/DM intervention, Merian has no way of knowing what's going on there. And it seems like there might be a fight about to break out too. Time to see how well a diplomacy check, or something other than fighting, will do. Pending, of course, good dice rolls.

No DM intervention. Cheriss and Robert are (not quite) on their own.
Has everyone forgotten Valentine? |
