Yeah, I too am having a hard time choosing what Valentine's answer should be. I'd like to have him know exactly what to say, but religion isn't his speciality so I can't.

Wouldn't coming up with a logical explanation discharge the inherent value of the quest ahead, thus invalidating the very reason why he is there and not, say, studying some long-lost arcane texts? I doubt he'd share it, even if he had it.

Just so everyone knows, Gedro and Kiiz posted such long posts at my request - I encouraged them to post such long posts for this time. I don't expect it out of everyone, and certainly not every time. That's why I have a 100-word rule and not a 1000-word rule.

So, please, feel free to post between now and my next post (which will probably be Wednesday). React to the last two large bits of information you got. Mythrilspade will be delivering the next speech, which should tie everything together and get us moving soon, so if you want to post, now is the time.

I am satisfied with waiting until we get in motion. It is part of my character to not interrupt things at every oportunity.
And of course they had been so requested. If they had taken so much hold of the plot on their own, would you not have expeled them?

That's fine. Mythril is working on his massive post, which should be the end of background exposition for a while. When he's done, we'll move on.
