To each his own, I am not about nerfing, but 1st level characters are susceptible to bad dice rolls. Personally I don't like killing a character based strictly on one set of rolls. A little cushion is usually important at the beginning. But that is your call, it is your game.

Alright guys, I'm out. I'll make sure to get in a good post on my days off (every 5th day) if I can get internet, which I am pretty sure I can.

Regular behaviours for Hycinth:
1) Take the lead
2) Try to avoid death
3) Deal with traps; take them, cover others from them, etc
4) Attack first, questions later

Just a reminder, please only post 1 round's worth of actions at a time. We also need a few more posts. I know we're probably missing CE2JRH, so that leaves Malik, Jafar, and Famke. Just to clarify, Luc you do post again before I do.

I'm wondering if you all would prefer a more lax posting rate, say 3/week instead of 1/day.

Hard to say on the posting rate. My schedule varies pretty wildly from week to week. What I can tell you is that I'll be out of town for a gaming convention this Thursday through Sunday, so my posting will probbaly be limited then.

See what happens when the naked drow monk gets killed without warning? Actually, judging from how easily that thing killed me you guys are still in trouble. I got knocked out in the surprise round. Though I thought maybe grappling someone was a non-lethal action. Unfortunately for me, I was wrong (not that I could have done anything anyways).

Looks like this game was abandoned. And that is one lucky dark mantle, it has a grapple check of what 0? Also that last hit should have killed it.

Sorry for disappearing so suddenly. The summer just hit me like a wave and I haven't been able to get back on here until now. If I find that I'll be able to be more reliable in the fall may pick this up again from where we left off (with replacements if some people drop off). Otherwise, thanks for the ride! It's been fun trying to DM you guys, hopefully I didn't seem too new to it.
