Motoko waited quietly just at the edge of the tree line with Nodoka, waiting to see if either of them could formulate one last plan of entry. "Perhaps we could even consider a more direct approach? Maybe the front door would even be the easiest target?" Last edited by LegendaryUserName; 05-01-2010 at 10:40 PM. |

Soreda wears a slight look of insult when the guard speaks ill of his feline form, but his furry face doesn't offer enough of an expression to give him away. You get a pass this time buddy. You're of more use to me alive, for now. He retreats the way he came and settles in a out of view of the guard. Releasing the jutsu the boy feels more comfortable in his much less hairy body. Guess this is what the ninja life is like. It's not as easy without the guys though... A silent sigh escapes his lips and he digs out his cell phone. Knowing is half the battle, right?" With that, the boy begins an internet search to find out a little more about the building they're trying to make their way into.

‘Motion sensors, tinted and covered windows, and jumpy guards, huh? What to do, what to do?’
__________________Nodoka glanced to Motoko as she spoke. “Oh? So I’m the plan maker, obaa-chan? What happened to age before beauty?”, she teased the older of the two females, a small smile forming under her featureless noh mask. Looking back to the problem set before them, Nodoka tried to pick through any possible idea she could come up with. “The front door is going to have to be our only option.” ‘Stupid tinted windows,’ she cursed internally. “First, we’re going to have to move to a better positioning and then once out of the view of the other two, drop the patrol guard. After that, we secure him, pose as him, and walk through the front doors. From there, its just winging it. Or at least, that’s what I’m doing. You’re welcome to come along, but be mindful of the security cameras on the building.” With that, she was off, hoping to be able to catch up to the patrol guard she saw circling the building earlier. |

Soreda throws a mental hissy fit before whipping out his phone and begins searching the net. (7YCorp.) is the name on the building and signs so he logically or at least one would hope starts there. He digs through different sites and business profiles and comes across some rather decent information. The company was started 10 years ago by Howard Myukin and it is a software development company with it's paws in some other fields. It rakes in on average 79 Mil a year in profits and is continuing to grow. They attach pictures of the owner and three other high ranking officials in the company. This is the main office.
__________________(Remember this is taking or has taken a few minutes to do so the others will be in action before you can relay any of this to them.) Nadoka managed to catch up with the guard circling the building timing in perfectly so that he was alone on one side of the building out of sight. In her haste she cracked some branches underfoot causing the man to look out into the woods beyond the gate. She was still well hidden. |

Doing her best to move steathily and keep up with Nodoka, Motoko continues their whispering conversation with the other girl.
"I get it, you're insecure about your age, but if you could just hurry up and mature your mind, since your body seems incapable, then maybe we could actually formulate a bit of a better plan," Motoko whispered to her female companion, taking the time to deliver another verbal snipe to Nodoka, "If we can get over there, incapacitate the guard, find some way to bind his limbs, then one of us could conceal him while the other disables the two cameras. Unless you have some way to get him unconscious and back into the treeline before the cameras catch sight of him." Motoko paused for a moment as she studied the guard. "So, do we just charge him on the count of three?" |

"Yes!" Soreda exclaims in a breathy whisper. His mouth hangs slightly agape while he looks around for someone to share his moment of triumph with, but his team was off doing mission stuff. His eyes drift back down to Word Challenge on his phone which was proudly telling him that he had the vocabulary of a teacher. This was a facebook-worthy event, surely someone on his friends list would share his joy. It takes only a moment to inform those closest to him of his victory. His boredom with reading about the boring history of a boring company dulled for the moment, he goes back to reading more and plotting how he'll get into the building.

Kage couldn't help but shrug as he expected the kid to follow wile they reset the sensors. The original plan was for the guards to see the animals and write them off so the sensors get reset and such, ah well. Kage went over to one of the vents to check for anything that would percent its removal wile he looked about for a camera. It was extremely unlikely they put one up here but you had to be very very careful. He had to start holding onto his chakra but he would keep his existing jutsu active until they ran out.

Motoko moved even less silently than her counterpart. If elephants were ninjas she did her best impersonation of one. They both remained out of sight but the guard now sure he heard something twice was even more curious and begins to shine a flashlight into the thick brush of the trees.
__________________(You get one round before he radios in that he is hearing suspicious movement. Right now he is chalking it up to the cat but 2 heavy noises has put him on edge.) Soreda learns that the big bosses are out of town. How the ADD member of the group gets stuck with the research would be beyond anyones guess. Even more surprisingly was the success he was having as he didn't get sucked into playing any games or chatting. On the roof there were no signs of any cameras or security. More than likely they thought the odds of someone getting that far would be too great to much effort into it. Kage easily slides the vent lid off but finds that it is too big for his human form. |

Satisfied that he had milked the internet dry, Soreda uses whatever information he can to determine who among the pictured individuals has the most power (assuming the same information suggests that that person is still alive). He stands and quickly goes through the proper hand seals. I'm a pretty good actor, this shouldn't be too hard. In a poof of smoke he has assumed the form of the boss, carrying a briefcase, wearing a watch. This'll work... With that, he casually approaches the complex by way of the main entrance, openly seeking the attention of one of the guards.

He didn't know who of his team had set up their comms but he figured it was better than nothing. ~Breached roof. Heading top floor down~ With that he had transformed himself into a rather long python. Sure, if the others saw it they would question his motives at that point. But it had good reach so he could snake down and pick through things without disconnecting from the vents. Kage started snaking though the vents slowly.

Soreda gestures one of the guards over while staring cautiously about the yard. "I was on my way over to pick up a particularly important file when I was told our security had been breached. Did you catch him? I bet it was that slime from..." He adjusts his collar. "Pardon me. At any rate I'm in a particular hurry and I don't care to be accosted by intruders. I'll need one of you to escort me to the office if you don't mind." Not sure on the most appropriate attitude, he tries to remain professional. Soreda does his best impersonation of an older professional businessman. He isn't rude, but he hopes to keep a "just remember that I'm higher on the food chain than you" air about him.

Soreda had made his move. As he approached the gate the guards immediately recognized him and had begun to greet him before he had to wave them over. Both of the guards seemed to be more terrified than anything else. Sir..? We apologize sir. No one informed us you were returning to the building. I would be more than happy to escort you to your office. the smaller of the two guards offered to carry any belongings with a simple hand gesture. Follow me sir. I wouldn't worry about the intruder. It was just a cat that triggered the motion sensors. Where is your driver sir? Isn't he usually with you?
__________________The guard swiped the key card opening the front door and holding it for Soreda. After you sir.He guided him into the main lobby and towards the elevators. A low whistle and constant shifting suggested the man was completely frightened of his superior. ---------------------------- Kage slithered down through the vent system not running into any serious obstacles. He reached an exit point in a hallway that appeared to be empty. In the snake form he could easily slide out. (You emerge near the room 3 in the schematic drawing) The hallways are lit with safety lights. All seems quiet enough. |

‘Tch. Bad luck all around. Today is just not my day, and of all days, huh?’ She cautiously spied on the obviously edgy guard, eying the distance between them. ‘The distance is still to much. He’d see me and get on the radio, screaming like a fool and everything would go to hell directly afterward.’ Inwardly she sighed in frustration. ‘This is the kind of thing I’m better suited for and here I am, already half-botching things. God, if those boys had the right idea for this, seppuku is going to look very nice when this is all done.’
__________________Nodoka looked to Motoko for a second. “We need to either take this guy out quietly or get him to leave. And as much as the latter screws up my half-baked plan, it’s probably the best right now. Just follow my lead.” Her hand went through the elementary-skilled half-signs and half a second later a squirrel stood in her place, complete with a bushy tail and tiny eyes, currently transfixed on Motoko expectantly. Taking another half-second to try and get into her squirrely persona, she made for the tree line, bounding playfully from cover. |

"I suppose it's better than nothing," Motoko muttered unhappily at the thought of being a tiny woodland rodent before following her partner in making a few hand signs and transforming into a chipmunk.
"Everyone knows that chipmunks are cuter than squirrels," Motoko thought to herself, triumphant in her ability to effortlessly one-up her slightly more youthful feminine rival. Wasting no more time, Motoko made off after Nodoka, bounding playfully through the trees and grass. |

Soreda scowls at the man when mention of the driver is being made. How dare you question how the boss does things? he thinks to himself playfully. "Have you ever owned a Bentley?" Soreda asks rhetorically. "When you hear 2 minutes before your arrival that your destination has a prowler, you can only assume he's either a thief or a vandal and those happen to be the two types of people I want nowhere near my car." He shakes his head, making his disgust with this whole situation very apparent on his face. "The driver that you're so worried about stayed back with the car, well out of sight. He's keeping an eye on her. If anything happens to that car he better pray he gets shot in the process. God be with him if I find out otherwise..." Soreda allows his growing frustration to show a little. The boy can't afford to answer too many questions, but the frustrated boss act appears to be the best "conversation shield" at the moment, judging by his guide's demeanor. He hopes that the rest of the trip to the office can go in silence.
