Whatever is in the rules is what you can do. Everything else (as of this moment, according to a rule) is unregulated. Half of this game is about bending the rules to your advantage, by the way.

Also Bidy, your rule states something that should be a fact, but it really isn't a rule. Are you saying that those races are only allowed to use their own alternate power sources? If so, I think the proposal should be edited to reflect this.

No the races would be allowed to use use whatever power they can access, I just want to discover any moral or ethical dilemna that thier current situation may cause.

Is this intended because he wasn't here when it was made, or did you just forget to include him in it?

Not at all, nowhere in my proposal does it even hint at that. I find your question difficult, what path of logic do you use to get from where I started to your question?

The simple fact is that in our quorum we are discussing using a bing of pure hatred. Hate kills everything including itself in most cases. We are a part of everything. The proposal is a simple one designed to gain us more information. A more educated decision is never a bad one.
Consider this:
If the hate being kills those people and you as speaker voted to allow this: those deaths are on your shoulders. Not that abig a deal, its only a few bneings afterall.
If the hate being teaches those people to desive weapons that could threaten US then its your head on a silver platter.

I for one do not think the issue is the motivation of the explorer group that is the key decision. I do think what the hate entity will do is the key decision here. To discover if the explorers have a safer alternative is a good idea.

@Krogher: You are only allowed to have 1 proposal up at a time in accordance to U4. If we weren't I would have added a few proposals right now. Personally (if you get the choise) I'd say do C1-M15.

I am going to Canada for 5 days starting tomorrow, Monday, at 5 AM EST. Access to this site will be limited and/or non-existent for that time. So it may be awhile before I update again. I will return this Friday.
