She greets Ire then. "Come, Ire, and quench your thirst with me. I know you've had a long night." Bringing forth the pure, crystalline water from the air, she drinks herself and refreshes her fellow party member, as she has done so many times before. She feeds her horse and quietly brushes him, waiting for the others to awaken, then offers to provide water for any who need it. Finally, mounting the white spotted steed, she gently caresses her prayer beads and prepares to depart. She yawns once, a testament to another night spent on the hard ground. |

"Your kindness is comforting, Syra, and yes the night was a long one. Nothing else stirred, so at least everyone else's repose was not also ruined."
Ire rose from his position stiffly, and stretched his cramping calf muscles, trying to get the blood in circulation once more. He graciously accepts some water, and drinks his full. Looking down at the rest of the group, he mutters to himself "I wonder how I should wake them..." Last edited by CroMagnon; 05-28-2010 at 11:20 PM. Reason: i said 'night' to much. And OOC |

Barkeep fetch me an ale and make it quick! I have a thirst that cannot be quenched by water alone! Actually make it two, the first will be as dead as those foul Gnolls soon enough. Kroth said in a voice that brooked no argument, he drained his first ale in a single long gulp and got half way through the second before coming up for air.
Well that was certainly a fight to be remembered. I will not likely forget, he looks down at his leg, anytime soon with the scar that's bound to leave. I look forward to your healing in the morning Syra, and thank you for the offer. We are lucky to have one so favored by the gods on our side! |

Syra gives over her horse to the kind soul working the stable and blesses him. She drops into the tavern with Kroth, assisting him as he walks with his wounded leg should he need it. "It is the very least I could do for you, Kroth. I pray that next time such healing isn't needed. I shall endeavor to protect you from harm before you enter battle, shielding you with faith and saving you the pain of injury." She sighs. "Would that I could shield all our allies from such harm, but alas, my faith is still too weak."
She will order some food and water for herself, abstaining from alcohol. After seeing that Kroth is comfortable in the tavern, she will go off on a short shopping trip, to buy some minor items to help in the underground trials ahead. |

Your faith is strong enough Syra, it is just that I let my guard down in an effort to finish the brutes quickly. I should have been more careful and less cavalier in my approach. Next time I will not make that mistake. Kroth pauses for a moment as Syra orders water.
I see you do not drink. That is good, we will need clear heads tommorrow...I just need one more myself, well maybe two more...for medicinal purposes you understand. Barkeep! |

After exchanging the battleaxes for coin at the shop, Syra goes about the town to find each party member, dividing the proceeds and distributing them to to each. "The shopkeep was quite generous, and sympathetic to our plight," she says. "It wouldn't be a bad idea to show our thanks by patronizing his establishment."
With that, she goes off to do some further shopping of her own. |

"I for one think that we should find this gate nonsense quickly, and then, and only THEN after we get paid, we can sleep safe, yes?" Of course once more the voice came from the only shadows in the whole establishment. It was the voice of the infernal rogue Parlay. "I am usually one for more action than none, but this is a group decision, not an individual one."
