Tabetha: Zharya finds herself drawn to the open friendliness Tabetha shows to all she comes in contact with. She feels confident going into battles with a fearless leader who has shown herself willing to do whatever it takes to make sure she leaves noone behind. She has felt a spirit of friendship spring up between them and hopes this friendship will grow as friends in her life have been few and far between.
Immeral Clouclan: Immeral has struck Zharya as open and curious. Some of his inqueries into her past, while seemingly out of a desire to learn all he can about those he meets, have caused her to be quieter around him and less willing to share. It doesn't mean she is suspicious of him or dislikes him, questions about her past just tend to put her on the defensive. Mindrus Hektopios: While Mindrus's bellows in combat initially intimidated Zharya, she has come to learn that he is a gentle soul. She has spent much time with him, merely sitting introspectively with no conversation needed to fill the comfortable silence. The iron will he holds over the beast raging inside is an inspiration to her. Thale Morthist: Zharya hasn't quite figured out what she thinks of Thale. While his righteous anger of the gnolls was a site to behold, he seems a little rash in his actions. It isn't his appearance that intimidates her, but rather the force of his emotions when confronted with wrongdoing. Tarek: Zharya has found a quick companion in Tarek and has spent many nights conversing the best methods for navigating the forests and woodlands that surrounded them. His deep love for his deity after a lifetime of pain is beautiful to see and has left many thoughts for Zharya to ponder when she lies awake at night haunted by memories from her own past. |

Being more of an introvert, Thale has found his adventure so far with the small group somewhat jarring to his mental state. The shifter, Zharya, has all the signs of one who has great knowledge and compassion for the primal energies, hopefully soon the two will be able to converse more once Thale has finally found his place. The one known simply as Tarek has great knowledge of the lands and the beasts that reside within them, not to mention his skill with a bow and arrow, which garners much honor from Thale. Then there is the hulking figure of Mindrus. Having said a few short words to him it is clear there is more behind his bestial eyes than a passerby would think. Of the all the party members Immeral puts Thale on edge the most. Having only slightly learned of the arcane arts Thale falls on his neanderthal instincts of pushing away anything he doesn't understand. With time, and study, Thale will become accustomed to the workings of the wizard. Above all there is the paladin, whose charity and kindness allowed Thale to be where he is now, is what Thale strives to be in someone who's job is to protect all those weaker then them self. Staying somewhat back from the group Thale watches and listens for cues where his knowledge might be useful.

Tabetha has empathy for Zharya having similar backgrounds. Tabetha is impressed by her power and is still trying to understand how to mesh her powers with the group.
Tabetha secretly fears that Mindrus is an actual demon. Knowing what fear can do to the most rationale and kind person, Tabetha strives to overcome this prejudice. No matter what her opinion is Tabetha has never seen such fierce and punishing blows. Tabetha always watched the archery contests in her village and yet none held a candle to Tarek. Tarek pin point accuracy has saved some of her plans from disaster and she values such skill highly. Tabetha is astonished by how accurate "dragonborn" really is having never one before Thale. She also wonders if his powers are related to Zharya's. Tabetha is still trying to unravel the mystery of Immeral. However he has proven his loyalty and such things are hard to come by. |

Tabetha:
Mindrus admires the paladin's devotion to her diety and is happy to aid her in furthering the causes of good, although he doesn't quite share her motivations. Since restraining the inner beast is such a struggle for Mindrus, he's slightly at odds with the god of liberty, although it would be a rare situation in which the conflict would create a problem. Zharya: Zharya's an interesting character to Mindrus. She embraces her bestial side and actually transforms into a cat during combat, which is a strange concept that Mindrus doesn't exactly trust. They get along well though, and while Mindrus wishes she was a little more dedicated to good for its own sake, he's not reproachful. He's also bemused by how much shorter she is than him. Immeral: Also a short one, Immeral seems to have the least direction of any of the group. He approaches the study of magic with passion though, and while he doesn't want to seem preachy, Mindrus does think Immeral would be a fine servant of the forces of good if he's given a little guidance. Mindrus also thinks very highly of immeral's cooking. Thale: Mindrus has great respect for Thale. He can summon the same depths of fury as Mindrus can, but without the same risks of corruption. He's glad to see that the similarly quiet warrior is also dedicated to the cause of good. Tarek: Tarek seems less brash than most of orcish descent, and Mindrus understands his struggles with his ancestry, and is willing to support Tarek in his crusade against the orcs. They don't talk much though. |

Tabetha: Tarek has an unspoken love for Tabetha. The paladin understood the half orc's alienation from his family and the anger that fostered, and she taught Tarek not to be angered or afraid of such things but to revel in the freedom and opportunity that arises from the unfortunate events of our past. His love of Avandra is an extension of his feelings for her paladin and he would give his life for both.
Immeral Clouclan: The wizard is still something of a conundrum to Tarek. Needing magical strength to control the battlefield Tabetha recruited the mage before their last adventure against the gnolls. The wizard certainly proved his worth during the fight, and with the pots and pans around the campfire, both good things in Tarek's mind and yet his civilized ways and fey grace is disconcerting to the half orc who becomes aware of his own shortcomings around the eladrin. Mindrus Hektopios: The intimidating cleric seems somewhat distant to Tarek. The half orc admires his skill and devotion to seeing justice done, though fears that his own idea of justice for the perceived wrongs of his fatehr would not meet the minotaur's ideals of true justice. For this reason Tarek has not approached Mindrus with his questions but maintains a respectful distance. There is no doubting however that the minotaur is a force in battle and a worthy leader even when compared to Tabetha. Thale Morthist: Along with Zharya, Thale and Tarek form a triumvirate whose veneration and respect for the natural world gives them a shared comradeship that has proven it's worth during the expedition against the gnolls. Working together with others who share similar belief has been a new experience to Tarek and one that he values. Towards Thale, as with Zharya, Tarek feels a brotherly compassion that allows the half orc to act more naturally than with any of the other members, including Tabetha. Zharya: Zharya and Tarek seemingly have a lot in common, both raised among human villagers but seen as different, both sharing a love of freedom and nature. The expedition against the gnolls has drawn them closer together as their primal natures have worked well together and Tarek now feels an almost brotherly affection for the shifter. Tabitha: One of the less chaotic humans I has ever known. I can't help but admire the streangth that let her survive such an ordeal as growing up hated. i don't know all the details but the painfull look in her eyes at the mention of home.... ah maybe my life wasn't so bad after all.
__________________Zharya: I must admit i didn't trust Zharya when we first met. the shifter was exotic.. new... and of course like all ignoramus i immediately combined different with bad. Alas i know not much about her but hope to learn more as our travels progress. Thale: Tarek: Mindrus: Still working on it Want to re- read backgrounds before i post in character thoughts. |
